Hi Aida, fresh ginger juice lasts only 24 to 48 hours when stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator. Ginger is alkaline in nature and alkaline foods have short shelf lives. You can preserve homemade ginger juice by freezing or canning it. Ginger juice lasts indefinitely in the freezer.

i have read what you said in the comment section that ginger is an alkaline food. That’s good to know but what I really love is the help of ginger to hair and hair growth. I know a lot of benefits of ginger like cure for fever, for lack of appetite and indigestion but I never heard of it as good for hair treatment and I have a really thin hair to the point that every strand is important. I want them to be healthy and if it can make my hair a little thicker i will buy a sack of ginger, all for my hair.
