Stepwise Tutorial:

Let’s start the coral eye makeup tutorial:

Step 1:

Start applying an eye cream to moisturize and relieve any dryness that may be present in the under eye area. Gently use the ring finger to apply and blend the product. Allow it to be absorbed by the skin. Now, it is time to apply your favorite concealer. If, you have very pigmented eyelids, then it is best to use a corrector prior to the application of the concealer. Set the concealer with some powder to avoid creases and fine lines.

Pick a creamy orange or coral base. Cover up the center of the eyelid area. Don’t worry about being precise as we’ll be smudging the whole thing in the next step in any case!

Step 2:

Now comes the fun part! Use a smudger or pencil brush to gently blend the sharp edges of the orange cream base. Now, pick a light coral eyeshadow in satin finish. Apply it to the entire eyelid area. Layer the eyeshadow just above the smudged base. Pat the eyeshadow and avoid the usual sweeping motion to build maximum color intensity.

Step 3:

Apply a deeper orange shade to the outermost corner of your eyes. Apply a creamy white eyeshadow to the innermost corner. The eyeshadows can be in satin or matte finishes, depending on your preference.

Step 4:

Pick a matte beige-brown eyeshadow and apply it to the crease area of your eyes. It is best to use a fluffy tapered blending brush to softly diffuse the color into the crease. You should remember in this step to blend the coral, orange and brown eyeshadows seamlessly to create a soft transition of colors. Use gentle and soft circular motions to blend it easily.

Step 5:

Then, apply the same coral and orange eyeshadow we used earlier to the lower lash line to create a balance in the eye makeup. Then, line your waterline.Tight line your eyes with a dark black kajal. Curl your eyelashes and follow it up with a mascara to create an illusion of thicker eyelashes. As I wished to create a soft and subtle look, I did not use false lashes. But you can go ahead and apply false eyelashes for this eye makeup if you want to! Then, apply a shimmery champagne eyeshadow to the brow bone of your eyes for that added oomph.

That’s it! A very fresh and party look—this eye makeup will go well with the western party wear as well as traditional Indian attires. The main thing that you need to keep in mind is to get a clean finish. If you manage to get that right, you’ll be able to totally rock this eye makeup! You really don’t need a salon to look like a million dollars! A little practice, a little patience and imagination, and you will be a makeup maestro!
