Herbs do much more than just add color and flavor to your favourite dish. They have been used for centuries in Ayurveda and other alternative medicine to treat several health diseases. These natural herbs are very effective in boosting the immune system, healing allergies and renewing the body’s vitality. Unlike drugs, herbs do not have side effects. Here are ten commonly available herbs for health and healing properties:
1. Aloe Vera:
Aloe Vera has maximum application in cosmetic and beauty products. It possesses an incredible ability to ease nausea and improve digestion. It acts as a laxative by increasing intestinal water and mucus secretion. Consuming aloe vera juice eases inflammation, promoting long lasting health. Aloe Vera gel is also proven to treat minor burns. Apply pure aloe vera gel on burns or wounds several times a day for quick recovery.

2. Holy Basil:

3. Chaste Tree Berry:

Cilantro essential oil is believed to fight bacteria, including salmonella and E coli. The carboxylic acid in cilantro binds to the heavy metals in the body, carrying them out of the body. It is also an excellent anti-anxiety herb.
8. Tea Tree Oil:
Tea tree is also referred to as “nature’s miracle healer” for its healing properties. Drinking melaleuca tea, along with other herbs, calms and soothes the nervous system. Thyme and carvacol in this herb relaxes uterine muscles to prevent painful contractions. An infusion made from the fresh plant relieves nervous headache.
The high levels of antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties in dill help to neutralize carcinogens, preventing cancer.
