3 Makeup Trends That Are About To Be Huge

Trends are the fashion world’s way of saying that you’ve got to keep up. Not only do fashion and couture weeks lay down the rules for the next season’s fashion game, but they also dictate makeup and hair trends. Couture Week 2015 did just that. What stood out from the fashion runways more than the haute couture were new looks that will change the way we do our makeup.

Celebrated makeup artist Michael Anthony has it much easier. He has broken down the three main looks for us that will be huge this season. Chanel and Schiaparelli have been the biggest players in 2015, and inspirations from these shows are already being reflected on the street.

The first look by Chanel is something we all would love to try. With well-defined brows, bright scarlet lips, and a natural flush on the cheeks, we see this look being carried off by all skin tones around the world. The trick for this look is to have pale, peachy-toned eyeshadow with a hint of gloss to balance all the matte on the face.

If you are not a fan of lips that attract all the attention, the next look may be up your alley. Schiaparelli set the stage on fire with the soft icy look. Candy colored eyeshadow stood out from amidst the otherwise sheer and extremely soft palette. The softness of the face was also mirrored on the lips with nude and coral lip colors. This look is perfect for the day as well as the night.

However, the third biggest trend that is being borrowed from the Couture week may not be something we all can try. Dramatic eyebrows cannot be pulled off by the meeker ones, but if adding crayon colors to your brows doesn’t deter you, then you must go for it.

Just like fashion, when it comes to makeup, if you do not believe in it, or if you are not comfortable, it will show. Try looks that go with your personality and can speak volumes about who you are. At the end of the day, imposters don’t last in this world. Be yourself, and be awesome at it.
