  • The unclogging of hair follicles also deals with issues such as dandruff and prevents hair fall.
  • Using potato juice can add shine and luster to your hair by closing the cuticles.
  • It acts as a conditioner when used in combination with ingredients like honey and egg.

Hi Vaishu, there can be several factors behind hair loss such as environmental effects, aging, too much stress, excessive smoking, nutritional deficiencies, hormonal imbalance, genetic factors, scalp infections, use of wrong or chemically enriched hair products, certain medicines and medical conditions like thyroid disorder, autoimmune diseases, polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), iron-deficiency anemia, and chronic illnesses. Some of the home remedies to combat hair fall are:
    1. Hair oil massage – You can use hair oils like coconut or almond oil, olive oil, castor oil, amla oil, or others. Massage any of these hair oils onto your hair and scalp by applying light pressure with your fingertips. Do this at least once a week.
    2. Onion Juice – Extract the juice of one onion by grating it and then strain it. Apply the juice directly onto the scalp. Leave it on for about 30 minutes, and then wash it off. Finally, shampoo your hair.

Hi Shyam, yes…. you can mix potato and onion together and apply this using a dropper for easy application. However, do massage your scalp for few minutes to improve the blood circulation. While massaging, you may experience a little hairfall, but this is normal and it will reduce eventually.
