Homemade masks are preferred over ready made packs when it comes to skin care. All the ingredients are easily available in the kitchen and with the regular use of these masks – skin looks young, clean, and smooth.
Masks for rejuvenation help to unclog the pores and cleanses them from within. Use of these rejuvenation masks every week can make your skin smooth and supple. There are many ingredients we use daily at home which are very good for skin and can be used as masks. Yogurt, honey, turmeric, flour, oils, egg yolk, fruits like grapes, oranges, apples etc. have many beneficiary supplements. Below are some of the easiest recipes for creating masks that help in skin rejuvenation.
1. Tomato Yogurt Mask:
- ½ Tomato
- 1Tbsp. Yogurt
- 1 Tbsp. Almond Oil
Simply peel and mash a Tomato and mix it well with 1 Tbsp. of Yogurt and 1 Tbsp. of Almond oil. Once it is ready, apply it on your face and rinse well with warm water after 20 min.
These are very easily available ingredients. Tomatoes work wonders for large pores, acne, rashes, sunburn and even gives glow to dull skin. Yogurt is a very good cleanser which can deep clean your pores. Almond oil is very rich in vitamins A, D, and E which can provide healthy skin. This overall pack offers its best in terms of facial rejuvenation.
2. Grapes And Honey Mask:
- 2tsp of yogurt
- ½tsp honey
- ½tsp lime juice
- 4 to 6 grapes
Mix all these ingredients well and apply it on your face. Wait for 15-20 min and rinse with lukewarm water.
This is a fruit mask. So whenever you get grapes home, don’t forget to use a few on your skin as well. Grapes work as natural cleanser. It contains antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties. Honey works against blemishes and can cure them well.

3. Apple And Egg Yolk Mask:
- ½ apple
- 1 egg yolk
- 1tbsp honey
- 1tbsp apple cider vinegar
- 1tbsp lime juice
Grind the apple first followed by grinding again with egg yolk. Mix all the ingredients well and apply the paste on your face. Wait for 15-20 min and rinse with lukewarm water.
This is also a fruit mask but since an apple should be consumed every day, you can easily go for this pack anytime. Apples contain collagen and elastin which helps in getting younger looking skin.
4. Apple And Almond Oil Mask:
- 1 apple
- 1tbsp almond oil/olive oil
- 1tbsp of cream
Grind the apple and mix the ingredients to it. Apply the face pack to your face and wait for 20 min. Rinse well with lukewarm water.
Most of us prefer almond or olive oil for hair these days. So it isn’t difficult to find it at all. You can avoid cream if you have oily skin.
5. Orange And Egg White Mask:
- 1 Egg white
- 2tsp Orange juice
- 1tsp Lime juice
- Few drops of Almond oil
Mix all these ingredients well and apply on your face. Leave it on for 20 mins and rinse with lukewarm water.
It wouldn’t take much time to make orange juice. Just squeeze some juice and mix with the ingredients.
We all know that oranges have great properties of toning. They act against anti-ageing and firma the skin. Egg white contains rich proteins and minerals and they help in skin tightening and firming.
