The fabulous and uber-talented Kareena Kapoor is set to be a mother for the second time as she and hubby Saif prepare for the arrival of their second child together. The couple shares their three-year-old son Taimur together. Saif also has two other children, Sara and Ibrahim Ali Khan from Saif’s first marriage to Amrita Singh. In a joint statement released on Wednesday, the couple said, “We are very pleased to announce that we are expecting an addition to our family. Thank you to all our well-wishers for all their love and support”. Considering how the news of Taimur’s birth broke the internet, we wonder how people will react to the birth of his younger sibling. A “Quadfatherly” Surprise
Soha Ali Khan was one of the first people to wish the pair on social media. The actress shared a hilarious post on her Instagram congratulating her older brother and his wife. She shared the post and wrote, “Coming soon!! Couldn’t resist! Congratulations @kareenakapoorkhan be safe and healthy – and radiant as ever!” Saif’s oldest son Ibrahim also commented on the picture expressing his love for his father. Fans of the pair were ecstatic to hear the news and many even joked that it was the effect of the nationwide lockdown.
Kareena’s first cousin, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni also shared a congratulatory message on her Instagram story and wished the pair good luck. Kareena thanked her cousin for her messages and reposted her story. Sonam Kapoor’s sister, Rhea Kapoor, a close friend of the actress also congratulated the family on the news and shared a message to her Instagram story. She wrote, “Congratulations, Kareena Kapoor. My lucky charm, veere for life. Guess which producer is on the other end of baby Khan No 2?”. Rhea had produced Veere Di Wedding, a film that Kareena and Rhea’s sister Sonam Kapoor had acted in. Co-Stars To Live-In Relationship To Marriage
If you grew up in the early 2000s you know that Saif was once married to the glamorous Amrita Singh and Kareena was once dating heartthrob and ex-chocolate boy, Shahid Kapoor. Amrita and Saif split up after 13 years of marriage. While Kareena and Shahid became the talk of the town among Bollywood circles and even walked Fashion Shows together, Saif started a short-lived relationship with an Italian model named Rosa. Kareena and Shahid sadly weren’t meant to be and they split up in 2007. Kareena has been very honest and open about her relationship and had stated that her relationship with Shahid has simply run its course. The actress then reconnected with Saif on the sets of their film Tashan. The pair actually first met at Saif’s first wedding which Kareena had attended as a child. Saif’s Older Kids

For many years, the media didn’t see much of Saif’s older kids as they kept away from the limelight and continued with their lives. Ibrahim, on the other hand, is still pursuing his education but the younger Khan has already modeled for a few brands and with his sister for various high fashion magazines. While Taimur is much younger and keeps away from the limelight, he’s often spotted enjoying strolls with his parents and making rare appearances out in public. Kareena too shares adorable pictures of her little tot all over her Instagram as well as her older stepchildren, Sara and Ibrahim. Kareena and Saif broke the news of their second child on the day of Sara Ali Khan’s Birthday, adding more joy to the occasion.
