  1. Blowdry your washed, wet hair while brushing it down to straighten it out.
  2. Apply some heat protectant.
  3. Picking up 2 inch sections of hair at a time, curl the lower half of all your hair.
  4. Spritz on some hairspray to prevent your curls from unraveling through the day.

Jessica Shults, a licensed hairstylist, offers an expert tip for quick, bouncy curls, “One of my favorite easy styling hacks for voluminous curls is to simply use a scrunchie to pull all of your hair on the top of your head into a loose high pony. Then divide the hair into 2-5 sections, depending on the thickness of hair. Curl each section and try to pin the curl so it can cool back down. Wait 10-20 minutes before taking the curls out and releasing the pony. Voila! You have tons of bouncy curls that look like you took hours to get! This is the best way to curl long hair in a pinch.”
