Sleeping is a must!
Most of you know that a minimum of eight hours of sleep is a must to help the body recharge and get back in shape.It needs to be ready for the next morning. This may sound easy but it becomes quite tough in this age of deadlines and gadgets and work pressure. Finding enough time to rest is almost a luxury!
All said and done, as you hit the bed at the end of the day, beauty is most likely the last thing on your mind.That is, till you do not know that the time you are going to spend sleeping, will also be the time that your body will work at giving you some beauty from within.
What happens to your skin when you sleep?
1. Lesser damage:
When you are asleep, your metabolic rate is lower and the body is not producing as many skin damaging free radicals as it produces while you are awake.
2. Repair and recovery time:
During the “night cycle,” the skin that has been damaged by environmental assaults, UV rays, free radicals and other noxious stimuli, get the opportunity to repair, rest, and recover itself.
3. Products become more effective:
As you sleep, your body does not have to work at skin protection during the night. Instead, it focuses on repairing the damage done throughout the day. 2. Take Off Your Make-Up Before You Sleep:
This again is one of the most known yet most ignored steps when it comes to skin care and beauty. Taking away all traces of makeup before going to bed is extremely important if you want a clear skin. If you choose not to take off your make-up at the end of the day, it can end up clogging your pores. This is what causes unwanted break-outs. Also, your skin needs to breathe, so make sure your skin if free of too much product build up. For best results, give yourself a day or two in the week where you wear no makeup at all.
