Brides glow. That’s just what they do because they feel so happy and positive about the upcoming changes in their lives.

So, my dear brides-to-be, the biggest day of your life is about to arrive, and as we all know, you want to be the one who will be the cynosure of all eyes (of course, your special someone’s too). For most of the brides, one of the biggest concerns is getting the perfect makeup that imparts a radiant glow to their skin.

Here are a few things you can follow to ensure that your skin glows look luminous on your big day:

1. Boost Your Skin’s Health

The saying, “the packaging of a gift is as important as the gift inside it”, holds good for our skin as well. This is the reason that skin care products are quite in demand.

A healthy skin makes you feel fresh, energetic, and confident. To start with your skin care, first categorize your skin type, and then go for products that match your skin type.

Build a basic skincare routine, starting with cleansing, followed by exfoliating, toning, and moisturizing.

Skin care and beauty go hand in hand, especially if you want to show off your best with confidence.

2. A Touch Of Base

Worried about your uneven skin tone?

A good foundation and concealer can ease your worries.

A makeup is never complete without a perfect base.

Use foundations that give you a dewy and glossy finish, for e.g., foundations in satin finish and foundations with moisturizers. These foundations will impart a glow and even out the skin tone.

Conceal all the blemishes, pigmentation, unevenness, and discoloration with the help of a concealer, and even out your skin tone with a foundation.

3. Powder Finish

The final step is to apply powder that helps to set your makeup and lock it all in.

You can use either loose powder or pressed powder. Dab it all over the face and eyes to prevent the eyeshadow and mascara from smudging under the eye.

4. Highlight And Contour

Now that your skin has turned into a flawless canvas, it is time to add some dimension and boost  its glow.

With the help of highlighting and contouring, you can accentuate your best features and, at the same time, underplay some other features.

If you wish to create depth, use darker  shadows of contour on the hollows of your face, while you can use a light shimmery highlighter on the higher planes of your face to enhance your features.

5. Add Some Color

Complete your look with a splash of color on your face. This is where you need a bronzer and a blush. It instantly brightens up the face, and gives you those sought after supermodel cheekbones!

A bronzer adds depth to the face and gives you a sun-kissed look. Choose bronzers in slightly deeper shades and the ones with shimmer and shine in textures.

Now that you’re done with the skin, tint your lips with a liner or a lip stain, and then top with a lipstick in matte or satin finish.
