Did you know that this helpful gadget can be of help in the kitchen as well??

There are times when our stomach (and even our heart) craves for hot and delicious food, but the only thing stopping us is the lack of a microwave or a stove. It turns out that the humble blow dryer is much more than a mere beauty appliance! It can be used instead of the microwave as well. Well, who-wud-a-thot???

The idea became popular when a college student posted a picture of him heating up his food with a blow dryer on Reddit. The concept seemed to be interesting, and most of the readers ended up trying it.

Well, it actually works! It’s just that it is a bit time-consuming, and you need to stir the food continuously, which you need not do while using the microwave.

Though the idea of heating your food using a hair dryer might be considered either ingenious or just lame, all that matters is that you can heat or even defrost your food using the blow dryer.

There are few other ways too by which you can heat your food. Some of them are:

1. The Iron

Yes, you read that right! You can use the iron to heat your food! But once you’re done with the heating part, just make sure that you clean the iron thoroughly so that the food or the meat doesn’t get stuck to your clothes.

2. The Water Heater

Well, this can be considered as one of the silliest ways to heat food, but the most interesting part is that this method works!

NOTE: Be careful while attempting this as you might get electrocuted!

3. The Room Radiators

Heating a burger or a sandwich doesn’t require special skills. You can use the room radiator as a microwave or even as a grill (depending on the type of the radiator!).

4. Coffee Maker

This one is very helpful, especially when you’re traveling.

Though these are not very conventional methods, you must give them a try at least once. And make sure you turn off the appliance once you’re done with heating the food, or else, craving for hot food can turn out to be a disaster!
