Luckily, there exists a very simple, effective, economical, and completely natural trick that can help you get rid of the bad odor from your car.
All you need is a couple of wooden clothespins and your favorite essential oil. However, an essential oil with citrus fragrance works best.
Here’s The Magical Trick:
Take a clothespin and pour a few drops of your favorite essential oil over it. Clip the clothespin on the air vent of your car. Turn on the fan for some time and then turn it off. Soon, your car will smell refreshing and pleasant. This happens because when you pour the oil over the clothespin, the wooden surface absorbs the oil and its lovely scent. When you turn on the fan, it gradually releases the smell, which spreads in the entire vehicle. The smell fades after some time. However, you can pour a few more drops of essential oil on the clothespin. The commercial car perfumes and sprays just mask the existing smell, which is again harmful to our health. The essential oil, on the other hand, helps in neutralizing the odor and removing it completely, thereby making the air fresh.
Another alternative is to take some cotton balls, dip them into the same essential oil, and keep them at several corners in the car.
