Rub This Point On Your Legs Every Night For A Peaceful Sleep!

Insomnia, what’s that? If you were to ask me this, it’s nothing but sleeplessness. Thanks to the hectic lifestyles, most people today are sleep deprived. Be it mental stress or physical strain, having trouble with sleep is certainly a serious problem that can have unfavorable consequences on your body. According to a survey, more than one-third of U.S. adults sleep for less than six hours a day. This habit is alarming given the benefits of adequate sleep range from better heart health, less stress, and improved memory. In short, sleep is the best solution to most of your health issues.

If all your efforts and methods to fall asleep have failed, here’s news! Have you ever heard of San Yin Jiao?

San Yin Jiao (SP6) is one of the most powerful and effective methods of healing that has its roots in China. Yes, we are referring to acupressure. We are talking about a specific point in your leg. It is said that massaging that point is very helpful in relieving menstrual cramps and treating pelvic and urological disorders, and also improving digestion. But most importantly, we hear that San Yin Jiao can ensure a sound sleep.

But, before you try this, it is critical to locate the exact point. So, how to locate the San Yin Jiao point? Find the highest peak of your inner ankle bone on your left leg. Now, measure four fingers width up your inner leg, and you will find the point just behind the skin bone.

If my explanation sounds vague, here’s a video tutorial for your reference:

  1. Once you locate the point, put your thumb over it and start massaging in a circular motion for around six seconds.
  2. Release for two seconds and then again massage for six seconds. Repeat it for around five minutes.
  3. Repeat the same on your right leg too.

This technique is very effective on your body and the best time to do it is at night before you sleep.

NOTE: If you feel any pain while massaging, it means you have selected the wrong point and a sign that you must stop immediately.
