A toothpaste is the first thing we look for as soon as we wake up in the morning. It is a must before we can get to our first cup of tea (or coffee!). It has an important role in maintaining our oral hygiene. It also has several other interesting uses around the house.
Here are a few instances:
1. Cleans Your Sneakers.
Want to whiten the rubber part of your sneakers? Scrub the area with toothpaste and a toothbrush. Once the stain vanishes, wipe the toothpaste with a clean and damp cloth.
2. Cleans And Deodorizes Plastic Bottles.
Well, this technique is great to deodorize baby bottles. Often, we forget to clean the bottles right away, and the leftover milk creates a sour smell. Toothpaste will help remove the bad odor in a jiffy. Put a small amount of toothpaste on the bottle cleaning brush and then scrub the bottle. Make sure you rinse the bottle well after scrubbing it.
3. Prevents Shower Glass Or Mirror From Fogging.
Fogging of bathroom mirrors is not a new thing, but you can prevent it by trying something new and innovative. Coat the glass or mirror with toothpaste and wipe it off before you shower. Your mirror won’t be fogged after your hot shower.
4. Removes Scuff From Your Leather Shoes.
Just squirting a dab of toothpaste over the scuffed area and wiping it off with a damp cloth can easily remove scuffs from leather shoes. Your shoes will look brand new!

10. Clears Pimples.
Dab a tiny amount of toothpaste over a pimple and keep it on overnight. The toothpaste will dehydrate the pimple and absorb oil, thereby drying and shrinking it.
11. As A Hand Sanitizer.
We all know that toothpaste deodorizes our mouth. But what if we told you that it works well on the hands too? If you feel that your hands are stinking, wash them with toothpaste. The odor will be gone instantly.
Note: For effective results, use a non-gel formula, preferably the old Colgate toothpaste.
