The way a person thinks, acts, and behaves can also be judged by their signature. A signature is something that establishes a person’s character and makes him/her unique. It is the portrayal of a person’s name, surname, or nickname. Besides, there are a lot of aspects of a signature that hold the key to a person’s strengths and weaknesses.

A signature is not just a combination of alphabets. There are a lot more aspects that have to be considered while studying one’s signature, such as a signature’s legibility, its angle, its length, the size of the letters, the pressure, the content of the signature, its shape, and much more.
Legibility
In most cases, a signature is a combination of a person’s first and last name. However, it is not always the case. It is said that a person whose signature consists of their full name and is clearly readable is quite confident in whatever they do. Similarly, a person whose signature only consists of their initials might have low self-confidence.
Angle Makes A Difference
The way a person signs — the angle of their signature can reveal a lot about their personality. For example, If a signature happens to go up, it can mean that the person is quite ambitious in life and vice versa.

Size Does Matter
The size of a person’s signature, especially the alphabets can say if a person is an extrovert or an introvert. It is said that bigger the letters of a signature, the more of an extrovert a person is. Likewise, the smaller the size of the alphabets, the more shy and introvert-like the penman is.

The contents of a signature can exactly tell us the way in which a person thinks. If a person’s signature consists only of their first name, it can mean that the person’s last name is overshadowed by their first, indicating that s/he is independent and self-confident. It can also be a sign that s/he wants to be recognized for their own merits.
Curves Are Good
Those signatures that have a cursive style of writing reflect that the person is friendly, pleasant, and full of life. In a similar way, those signatures which are properly angled and neat can mean that the person is very firm and disciplined.
Pressure While Writing
While understanding signatures, it is essential to know that the pressure applied while signing a document or a paper can determine the authoritative nature of a person. The more pressure applied while signing, the more authoritative and short-tempered the person is.
Likewise, the less pressure applied while signing, the more calm and composed that person is. However, these aspects differ from person to person and may not always necessarily be true. Nonetheless, in most cases, they are absolutely correct.
Details Always Count
A detailed signature can reveal how a person wants to present themselves in front of the world.
If a signature consists of decorations and unnecessary details, it can mean that the person is fake and is trying to frame a different identity, whereas if a signature is to the point, it can mean that the person is confident and transparent.
Moreover, some decorative aspects like swirls, underlines, periods, too can determine how a person thinks. If a signature has swirls in it, it can mean that the person is very thoughtful about little things. Likewise, if a person has the habit of underlining their signature, it can mean that s/he likes to take charge of things and is a leader. It can also mean that the person does not worry about challenges and is a decision maker. Those signatures that have periods at the end mean that the person is very much disciplined.
