Silver is a colour which is a favourite of many. Especially, we notice wide use of this colour in dresses for special occasions and also in jewellery. It’s a colour which makes your skin come alive and glow with all its radiance. It just makes you look beautiful. Combined with the colour black, it just becomes even more vibrant, and a best option to wear it at a party.

We all have one or two silver dresses or one or two black dresses stocked up in our closet. Sometimes, we just run out on choices as to what kind of nail art to wear with it. We just put on double stroke of a silver nail art and go out. However, if you have a bit of time in your hands and like to be a bit different, a bit creative, then this nail art will surely be something to stand out in a crowd and make heads turn.

So let’s see how to create this black and silver nail art in easy steps:

Things You Will Require:

  • A base coat (optional)
  • A shimmer pink colour nail polish
  • A transparent polish
  • A silver nail polish
  • An orange stick or a toothpick
  • Caviar beads in black
  • Caviar beads in silver
  • Medium sized rhinestone (5 pcs)

Stepwise Tutorial:

Step 1:

If you are using a base coat then use 2 coats of base coat on to the nails before starting this design. Now after the base coat have dried, use 2 coats of shimmer pink nail polish. You can also use white nail polish. This is just to make the base more opaque. Let it dry completely before moving on to step 2.

Step 2:

Since this is going to be a nail art based on the colour “silver”, you need to get hold of a very lovely and nice silver colour for this nail art. However, we will cover up this colour later on but it still might be visible to a certain extent as the base colour. So just to be on the safe side, use good quality silver coloured nail polish to cover your nails with at least 2 coats. Let it dry.

Step 3:

Proper drying of the silver base colour is absolutely important. Now take your transparent polish and brush up the tip position from half down the centre of the nails like the shape above. Do one nail at a time. Now place a palette or a container beneath your nails and sprinkle the silver beads over it. Remember your old craft classes? It’s just like that.

Press the beads and set them with an orange stick or a toothpick in proper alignment. Complete all the nails. Let it dry a bit before moving on to black beads part.

Step 4:

Now when the silver beads are a bit dried and stuck properly, cover the portion above with transparent polish and sprinkle black caviar beads over it. Press firmly and let it dry.

Step 5:

Now apply a transparent top coat over all of the nails. Place a medium sized rhinestone over the black portion at the top. Let the whole thing dry properly.

Step 6:

Your nail art should look something like above. It’s actually great for a party. Whether you are going to be wearing something western or ethnic, it will go good with any type of party dress as long as it is in black, white, and silver. It can also go pretty good with a red and black outfit.
