Dr. Afshin (Ash) Mosahebi is a plastic surgeon with over 29 years of experience. He is a consultant and academic lead at Royal Free Hospital, London, and a professor of plastic surgery at University College, London. He is on the editorial board of Aesthetic Surgery Journal and is the Honorable Secretary of BAAPS. Dr. Mosahebi has been the past President of Royal Society of Medicine (plastic surgery section), has served on the United Kingdom Specialist Advisory Committee for Plastic Surgery, and is the Director of Aesthetic Masters Programme at UCL.
Dr. Mosahebi studied at Guy's & St Thomas Medical School in London and underwent plastic surgery training in London Deanery in the biggest hospitals in the UK. He received specialist training in reconstructive and aesthetic surgery in New York and Belgium. He has authored a number of publications and has a special interest in congenital, cosmetic, and reconstructive breast surgery and complex soft tissue reconstruction following accident or cancer surgery.
