Dr. Henok Leake Malede began his career in Atlanta, Georgia and moved to New Orleans, Louisiana after completing his undergraduate studies. He studied at Tulane School of Tropical Medicine and Public Health. He continued his education at Georgia State University, focusing on communicable and non-communicable diseases (hypertension, diabetes, blood pressure, breast cancer, and neonatal health). Henok has worked with the Kansas Department of Health as a lead investigator and as a chief consultant to the Health and Housing Department at Enterprise Community Partners. He then decided to move to Montego Bay, Jamaica, and opened his naturopathic clinic: Him & Her Health. He focuses on non-invasive approaches and has been invited to speak on diabetes and hypertension on SmileTV, Jamaica’s National News and Entertainment Network, Morning Show (TVJ). Dr. Henok’s practice focuses not only on diet but also eating habits and techniques. When he is not working, he enjoys surfing, composing music, philosophy, and writing. He has authored and published books, such as Life on the Sun and The Wisest of Earth, covering topics on the miracles of life, disease, and physical and mental health.
