Every individual is unique and hence, styles of living differ with each personality. Some feel that these variations are scientific and others tend to incline more towards astronomical reasons, i.e. the stars determine human personality and thus behaviour.

Either way, some personality traits, behaviour and attitudes are inherent and make our character. Meanwhile, other traits are changeable and shift over time with places, people, and events.

When one believes in astronomical causations for each personality type, something as simple as sleep patterns are interesting to discover. Here are some ideas about sleep when related to each zodiac sign.

Aries(March 21 – April 19)


Aries get restless sometimes. These children of the zodiac live a life where most things go their way and they try really hard to make this happen. When events occur, which may not be in their control, they take time to accept it. This tendency has an impact on the way they feel and can be the cause of irregular sleep patterns. Given that they like to dive in and get things done, the process of accepting what doesn’t work may involve less sleeping hours. When Ariens realize these factors about themselves, they get down to finding their way to relaxation and sleep.

Taurus (April 20 – May 20)


Taureans need their eight hours of sleep. Their ruling planet, Venus’s beauty is apparent in their sleeping habits too. They like their sheets clean and beds made. A bedroom that’s hygienic is all they need. When sleep involves all the necessary elements, Taureans are happy. When some changes come into play, it takes awhile for them to readjust.

Gemini (May 21 – June 20)


Geminis like to think and that serves them well. They are curious creatures and have a tendency to gather knowledge. It mostly works but sometimes their minds could use some calming down to ensure a good sleep. Think your way to a good sleep, Gemini!

Cancer (June 21 – July 22)


Cancerians love a good home and know how to make one. They have the sensibilities to make sure that everyone who lives in their vicinity is satisfied and feels joy. However, this tendency to make everyone happy comes along with moody behaviour and hypersensitivity. If Cancerians could realize this tendency and be conscious of the impact of their moods, the possibility of either sleeping too much or too little could definitely minimise and sleep could work in their favour.

Leo (July 23 – August 22)


Leos sleep well, especially in the presence of their loved ones. Get them a comfortable bed, some cuddling and they are good to go to sleep. At the end of the day, Leos enjoy a good sleep leaving behind all the activities of their day and focusing on the blessingthat is their sleeping hours. Sleeping on their back works well for Leos too.

Virgo (August 23 – September 22)


Virgos like routines and organized setups. They maintain a discipline about everything around. Sometimes, their minds get too involved inwork details. Virgosneed to understand that its unnecessary to think of the same thing over and over again. Perhaps, writing about their day and reading it later might help. Virgos must see how unnecessary it is to get overly focused.

Libra (September 23 – October 22)


Libras live their life performing a balancing act. They like to be calm and peaceful about situations that aren’t in their control. Lovers of beauty, their personalities indulge in spirituality while being aware of the dangers of materialism. Given their constant attempt at balance, they sometimes need to realise that trying too hard doesn’t always help. Letting things be and taking baby steps towards working on their personality is the key to a good sleep.

Scorpio (October 23 – November 21)


Scorpios work hard and that is the secret behind their good sleeping pattern. They like to have a full day of work, feel exhausted at the end of the day and go straight to bed right into a restful sleep. Keep working at it!

Sagittarius (November 22 – December 21)


Sagittarians are travellers at heart. They like to be on the move and thus manage with little sleep. The trick to a good sleep and a healthy lifeis to get all the travelling and moving around done during the day and all the sleeping at night!

Capricorn (December 22 – January 19)


Capricorns are very practical and know that sleeping hours are an important part of the day. They sleep because they need to and they aren’t ones to deter from their duties. Sometimes, however, overwork could cause an issue but a Capricorn’s ability to be practical takes care of balancing work and sleep.

Aquarius(January 20 – February 18)


Aquarians are thinkers as well. Their minds get into possibilities of innovation, discoveries and finding solutions. Sometimes, however, the thinking intersects with sleeping and can make it difficult for their minds to find rest in the middle of all those thoughts! Aquarians should watch out and ensure that thoughts are put to rest time and again so that they can be more productive and efficient.

Pisces (February 19 – March 20)


Pisces love dreaming and so sleep is a treat! Whether its day or night, you can always spot a Piscean in the dreamland, away from all the trivial details of reality. It’s a way of relaxation for them. To revitalize and store energy, Pisceans must fulfilltheir sleeping hours one way or another.
