Hairstylist
Erin Fernandes is a London, Ontario, Canada-based hairstylist. She has been in industry for 25+ years after graduating from Marvel. Erin won the Ontario Hairstylist of The Year in 2006 and went on to win this award two more times, as well three Mirror awards. She was also the finalist for the NAHA Colourist of the Year. She was recognized in the IBI Awards as a finalist in two categories in 2022 and a semi-finalist in one for 2023. She was awarded Texture Hairstylist at the VZN Awards in 2022. In 2018, Erin opened her first salon, offering the same ongoing teaching experience for her apprentices. Mentoring the next generation is her passion, and she takes classes twice a month for her assistants. She feels that this is what made her the stylist she is today and wants those foundations for everyone she works with. Erin only allows assistants that have trained/apprenticed under her to go onto the floor as stylists and takes classes to continue her ongoing education.
