Mette Baillie is a couture designer with 24 years of experience. She has her own couture company, Freja DesignerDressmaking, in Edinburgh and specializes in making everything from tweed suits to slinky evening dresses and highly structured wedding dresses. Her extensive knowledge of pattern cutting, assessment of body types, analysis of coloring, along with understanding the client’s lifestyle and demands for clothing helps her clients pick the best clothes to elevate their confidence and appearance.
Mette has also enjoyed mentoring British and European students and has facilitated learning through a fast moving and exciting environment with some of the most highly skilled people in the industry. In her spare time, she loves riding fast motorcycles, scuba diving, wild swimming, and distance running.
