Not for people with oily skin

SPF 30

Travel friendly

Patanjali has become a well known brand due to their advertisements claiming it contains only herbal ingredients. The price is also cheap when compared with products of other brands. When I go to stores, they have a separate rack for patanjali products whereas others products are found mixed with each other. Many prefer patanjali products due to it's herbal contents. They have a wide range of beauty products and sunscreen is one among them. Patanjali Sunscreen Cream SPF 30 comes in a yellow-orange tube with a white flip open cap. The packaging looks good and it can be carried easily in a hand bag. Like I said before the product is affordable. The product contains natural herbs and oils. It contains extracts of aloe-vera, cucumber, coconut oil, turmeric. It claims to protect the skin from harmful uv rays from sun while nourishing the skin by revitalizing our complexion. The sunscreen is white in color. It has a thick creamy texture. It has a fragrance of herbals which fades away in minutes. The application is simple. Take the required quantity of the product and dot all over the face. Now blend them smoothly with fingers. The product gets absorbed into skin quickly. Apply sunscreen 20 minutes before getting exposed to sun. Apply twice a day with an interval of 5 hours. It contains essential oils, so it provides good hydration and there is no need for a moisturizer. It suits dry skin better than oily skin. For people with oily skin like me it leaves a white casting layer after a while under hot climate when we sweat. The skin becomes oily and greasy due to the presence of coconut oil. Due to the greasy nature, it clog pores causing pimples or breakouts. So, if you have oily skin, never buy this one. It has SPF 30 which is quite good in protecting skin from uv rays. There are certain side effects in using this cream for some people. If you feel irritation or redness on skin, discontinue this product. The product should be avoided by women who are pregnant or breastfeeding, people with gallbladder problems and Gastroesophageal reflux disease. This makes the product's usage restricted to only some people which is undesirable. When my friend searched the internet about the ingredients used in the product, she found it contains chemicals. I am not sure how far this is true. Anyway as I have an oily skin I don't use this sunscreen.
