BB cream or a Blemish Balm cream is a combination of foundation, concealer, primer, SPF, moisturizer and skin treatment cream. It is a lighter version of a foundation as per my experience and can be used on a daily basis to conceal the blemishes and give a radiant look to the face without giving a overly make up look. I have come across and used many branded BB creams ranging from premium brands to affordable to cheaper ones. I saw an advertisement on Fair And Lovely BB Cream and checked for its price online. It was much much cheaper than those of premium brands. I got curious and decided to give it a try. If it worked I would not have to buy expensive BB creams as this would solve my purpose, keeping this thought in mind I went ahead and bought this. The packaging comes in a tube with a nozzle at the end and a tight lid cap. The tube is quite handy and travel friendly. As compared to other BB creams, this has a thicker consistency. It comes in only one shade, which is one of its drawback. The dense and thick consistency of the cream is a big drawback, it does not blend easily on the skin. It takes a lot of effort to blend it evenly onto the skin and still it gives a chalky and patchy look. It doesn’t look natural and the chalky appearance gives an unnatural look to your face. It doesn’t feel light on the skin, rather gives a heavy and greasy feeling. It feels as if the skin has tightened. It claims to have an SPF 15 which is quite less and as far as my experience goes, it just comes off with the sweat under the sun. The fragrance is not so appealing and so is the texture. Not recommended for all skin tones and types. A big hands down and I would say avoid this product even though it is available at a cheaper price.
