Unhygienic packaging

Winter was almost around the corner, and my skin already started showing signs of a desperate need to highly moisturize. My dry skin turns into the most unpleasing sight during winter. And not just my face, but even my elbows. For my elbows, I use any moisturizer, but for my face, I always look for those cold creams that don’t make my skin sticky.

The essential oils in Aroma Treasures Aloe Vera Gel are what made me buy it. I was already aware of the goodness of Aloe Vera, and in fact, I use Aloe Vera to treat my skin during summers.

Despite the tub packaging which is unhygienic, I am in love with this gel. I have plans to continue using it throughout summers as well.

I use it as my day cream as well as my night cream. I simply take a coin sized amount and spread it evenly with a little massage over my face and neck. I also use it for my elbows. Initially, it’s a bit sticky, but in about a minute, it quickly gets absorbed. During the day, I apply sunscreen over the gel to protect my skin from UV rays. But during night time, I sleep it off.

It has been almost two months and my skin feels so soft. It has never felt better. This winter, I didn’t have any cracks. I think it will work on cracked heels as well. And also, my elbows that look horrific during winter look good now.

A tip to use it: Wash your hands before application. Since the packaging is not very hygienic, the least you can do is maintain your hygiene and also that way, you might just avoid pimples.

When I got to know about this Aroma Treasures Aloe Vera Gel and its effect on the hair, I had to try it on myself. At first, I was confused as to how to use it. But then I started using it post shampooing; almost like hair oil. So, I spread it through my scalp and comb it with my fingers and let it be for a solid 45 minutes to 1 hour. Then, I go ahead with my hair wash.

The results it gives me is splendid! My hair feels so soft, shiny, bouncy and wavy. I am just in love with this gel. And also, the tub goes a long way. I usually use the gel more than I should, but then it lasts for long. I will highly recommend Aroma Treasures Aloe Vera Gel.

PROS

Long shelf life

Effective

Pocket-friendly

Multipurpose

CONS

Not 100% aloe vera

Not ideal during summer

Can get greasy for oily skin

I use Aroma Treasures Aloe Vera Gel for almost everything. From healing cuts to beauty purposes. Though it claims to be an Aloe Vera gel, it is not, because it has added oils. So for oily skin, this can be a problem. Thankfully, I have combination skin, but still, then, I can’t use this gel during summers on my face because it makes my skin all the more greasy and I have to use sunscreen over it which gets a little too heavy for me.

Even so, I still keep on purchasing it because this gel has various other purposes. It is best when I get oil burns while cooking. I store it in my refrigerator, so when I use it on burnt skin, or cuts, I get this cooling sensation which is very pleasing, and the gel treats the wounds very well.

PROS

Does not cause breakouts

Inexpensive

Multipurpose

Can be used as a primer

CONS

Availability

I use Aroma Treasures Aloe Vera Gel as my primer. I save a lot of money using this as my primer and also it works just as good as any other expensive beauty products. Sometimes, I dilute it and store it in a spray container just to refresh my skin while traveling or working.

PROS

Reduces pigmentation

Improves skin’s health

Reduces acne marks

CONS

Overpowering smell

Does not control sweat

I had lots of acne marks, but after using Aroma Treasures Aloe Vera Gel consistently for three months, all my marks are visibly disappearing. To add to that, my pigmentation and the texture of my skin has improved a lot! I use it the first thing in the morning before face wash, and after leaving it for 5-10 minutes, I wash it off and continue with my daily routine. I also use it before I end my day after face wash. I don’t wear it outside because it makes me sweat and gets messy, so I prefer it while I stay at home.
