Becomes very patchy

I bought this product because I needed a mild daily foundation. I thought it would be excellent because everyone seems to be giving it a good review. When I first put it on, I was in love! It was smooth and matte and comfortable.

But later that day, I noticed a lot of flakes. By the end of the day, it was nearly all gone. Some of it was still on my face but in small patches, and my skin looked orange. I would definitely not purchase it again, especially for the price.

Amazing texture!

Before I go all out with my review of M.A.C Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel, let me give you a piece of advice. Hear, oh hear, oily skin people! Never use a cream-based moisturizer if you want to keep the greasiness at bay. Cream-based products are just not got us, okay?

So now, back to review. I bought this moisturizer only because it’s gel-based and claims to be be formulated with mineralize charged water. I started using it two months back as my daily moisturizer. Since I live in a cold place and mostly stay indoors, I am not really bothered by the absence of SPF in this moisturizer.

Anyway, this product comes in a tub which I am not very fond of because it gets messy. However, its texture is AMAZING! It is feather soft, blends easily, and gets absorbed like it is a part of your skin. As I mentioned, it has been two months of daily use, yet there’s enough left to last me for another two months. Unbelievable, right? I think that’s because just a little amount is needed to cover my entire face and neck.

I tried using it at night but NOPE! It’s too rich for my oily skin. The next morning, I woke up looking like a soaked sponge of oil. So that’s never happening again.

My final verdict is, M.A.C Mineralize Charged Water Moisture Gel is a decent moisturizer that deeply hydrates my skin, and pushes the barriers of oil to make my skin soft and fresh for a long time. It is a must-try product.

Pro's

Controls oiliness

A little product goes a long way

Lightweight

Gel-based moisturizer

Softens skin

Con's

No SPF

Unhygienic packaging

You have to try it to believe it!

After hearing so much about Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief, I thought I’ll give it a try myself. This is hands down the best facial spray! It is probably the only face mist that really hydrates my skin. I have tried several face mists, but nothing worked! They were all either too perfumed, irritated my skin, or just made it greasy. It’s annoying when you spend a fortune on something and it turns out to a be a complete nothing, isn’t it? Thankfully, Clinique Moisture Surge Face Spray Thirsty Skin Relief is not one of them.

I have combination skin, so it is a task for me to find a moisturizer to go under my makeup that does not make my face oily. This was the whole reason why I purchased this. Now, after almost two months of use, I ended up using the spray for almost everything. I use it before makeup and even after. And it does not end there. I also use it to refresh my face three to four times a day.

Its application is very easy. I just need to hold it a bit away from my face and spray it. There is no fragrance, so the spray never irritates my nostrils. The consistency is like water, but the aloe vera and glycerin infusion adds the moisture. I only wish that it came in different sizes, as it is difficult to carry the big bottle while traveling.

Otherwise, I am in love with this spray!

After every spray, my skin feels hydrated. Over these months, I can see my skin becoming more and more healthy. Isn’t it lovely when products meet their claims?

When I use it as a makeup base and setting spray, my makeup looks spot on! It does not become cakey nor does it melt my foundation.

Pro's

Moisturizes well

Refreshes your skin

True to its claim

No fragrance

Oil-free

Works as a makeup base and setting spray

Leaves your skin feeling soft and smooth

Con's

Not travel-friendly

No point buying this

This cream doesn’t do anything. I used it for two weeks straight and nothing happened. It gives a fake sheen that closes off the pores and makes your skin sweat. I didn’t like it. Not going to use it. It did make my skin soft though.

Pro's

Pleasant smell

Soft skin

Con's

Does not make your skin fair

Creates a fake sheen

Can this shampoo be used for colored hair?
(Question for L’Oreal Paris 6 Oil Nourish Shampoo )

Abigail Wilson Dec 29 2018

Yes, it is highly recommended for colored hair as the hair loses its moisture after coloring. So this shampoo works in nourishing the hair and makes it luscious.

Is the oil sticky?
(Question for Patanjali Kesh Kanti Hair Oil )

Anjali Sayee Chennai Aug 09 2018

No. The oil is slightly thicker than other oils, but it is easy to apply. If you have naturally oily hair, this oil will increase the oiliness until your hair soaks it in.
