Wide range of shades
If you have never used a lip liner before, then you can start with this product. It will be easy on the pocket and not very disappointing. For regular users, it will feel a little off.
I use Bobbi Brown lip pencil. It is almost double the cost of MAC.
I picked out the MAC Lip Pencil only because of the hype that this product has created and the price. It is a clear case of overpromised and under delivered. The colors are good. But it took me forever to make a simple line without having it feel chalky. It goes well with my lip balm, but I expected the moisture to be maintained by the liner which they claim can be used to fill up the lips too. For someone who is an avid user of lip liners, this doesn't rank on the top 3.
Good for dry skin
Great shade range
Doesn’t feel heavy
I always hated foundations for how heavy they appear and because of how difficult it is to find the right shade and blend them, the entire process. For my bridal makeup, the MUA used this foundation, and I had it on for about 8 to 9 hours.
First, it didn’t move from its place. Second, I was not looking cakey or patchy. It was just like a perfect layer of skin. Also, neither did it clog my pores nor highlight the dry patches. It was so perfect. I bought a pack for myself and use it every day without any trouble.
Suitable for oily/combination skin
For a drugstore foundation to perform this well is impressive. I did not have high expectations when I bought this one, but it has outdone all norms. It is affordable, and the quantity is amazing. It’s easy to blend and offers medium coverage. It dries out to be a complete matte and stays the same for the entire day.
For a person like me, who has oil dripping off of her face by the end of the day, this product tends to perform outstandingly. It absorbs oil and keeps me shine free. The only thing I think could be better is the packaging because using it when it’s nearing its end is a pain. Otherwise, there is nothing more I can ask from this product.
MAC cosmetics was the first high-end brand I was introduced to as a teenager, and since then I have a thing for MAC products, especially their range of lip colors. I have a big collection of it. One of my favorites is the shade Dangerous. From the day I purchased it, I have loved it. I don’t use it every day because it is indeed a bold color. But on special occasions, I lean on this shade only. Despite being matte, it blends nicely for an ombre lip look. I will recommend it any day.

How to choose the right shade?
(Question for Bobbi Brown Long Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15 )
It is best to know your skin tone and your undertone, that way it will be much easier to choose your shade. Otherwise, take a small amount of the foundation and blend it on your jawline. Don’t try it out on the back of your hand because it is not the same tone as your face.
