These lip crayons are not twistable. They come with their own sharpeners. I love that there are ten different shades and I love all of them. Not only can you find some classic colors but there are also some new funky colors as well. While there is no ingredients list, it’s no secret that they contain jojoba and olive oil. These two oils get deep into the lips. I feel the change! My lips used to be chapped all the time. I would constantly bite off the dried skin. But once I started using these crayons, I’ve noticed that my lips are more moisturized. These lip crayons stay for about 3 hours without a touch-up. If you are eating a sandwich or a burger, then you might need a touch-up. It doubles up as a lip liner as well which is quite brilliant, if you ask me. All in all, its pretty great and I’m really happy with it.
One typical evening, some friends of mine happened to talk about Fem fairness bleach. While they were discussing, I thought of using Fem Fairness Naturals Saffron Creme Bleach as an alternative for shaving my arms.A week later, I applied it for the very first time. I thought the whole process would be messy, but everything went on as smooth as a knife on butter. The product kit contains six items – Saffron cream, two powder activators, pre-bleach cream, a two-sided spoon that has one big and small scoop, and one spatula to spread the formula conveniently. The smell didn’t disturb me much as it is mild. Applying it was also easy. First, I took two big spoons of the cream in a container and two small spoons of the powder activator. I mixed them both with a plastic spoon. With the spatula, I applied it to my left hand while setting an alarm of 10 minutes on my phone. I didn’t want to go overboard with the bleach, so I played safe. After 10 minutess, I washed it off with cold water. The formula went off with ease, which is what I liked the most about it. While it sat on my skin, I felt a slight burning sensation, but on the packaging, it mentioned that it is normal, so I ignored it. After I washed it off, I applied the pre-bleach cream. It made my skin settle. The final result had me feeling accomplished. It was a brilliant idea indeed! The skin tone of my hands lightened (of course), but the hair on it is as light as my skin tone too. So now when I look at my hands, it’s as though I've had them waxed. Now I can finally say goodbye to painful wax and cactus shave. The thing I didn’t like was the presence of so many chemicals which I have no idea about. So, I’m very sure that this formula is going nowhere close to my face. I also feel like it is best not to use it often. Just once or twice a month should do the trick because it is, after all, a very strong cream and has the potential to harm your skin.My first experience was a success, and I am going to continue using it on my hands and also maybe my legs.
When I think about Ayurvedic products, my mind pictures an aged woman living in a hut in the forest and working with all the herbs under golden sunlight, making an ageless ointment. That thought itself draws me towards using Ayurvedic products.Vicco Turmeric skin cream is one of the Ayurvedic products I adore. Here is the reason why.The cream comes in a tube with a screw cap (like a tube of toothpaste). The entire packaging screams Ayurveda, turmeric, and sandalwood oil, i.e., orange and yellow color. The texture of the cream is thick, so it needs a little effort to blend evenly. I’m not very fond of the smell but since I am aware that no artificial aroma is added, I’m OK with it. I think it is one of the products that hasn’t changed at all with time. Classic indeed. My skin before and after using this product has a lot of difference, but unfortunately, I didn’t click any picture of the differences. Regardless, let me tell you about my experience. It started with my acne scars. Though my acne has disappeared with time, the scars remain, and they were stubborn. Only this cream had the formula to remove them completely. Then, my skin started looking radiant. I am sure it is because of the presence of turmeric. Since I don’t have major skin problems, I don’t expect much, but this cream provides satisfactory results. My routine with this cream is, every night before I go to bed, I apply it after face wash. I don’t wear it during the daytime because if I do, the entire universe will look at me for bringing in the ‘weird’ smell to the atmosphere. Moreover, I have oily skin, so it does not work for me during the daytime, though it gives a matte finish.
A friend of mine speaks highly of Ayurvedic remedies, so I finally thought of trying one myself. I bought Roop Mantra Ayurvedic Medicinal Face Cream about four weeks back, and I remember being very excited about it for its claims, especially regarding acne and pimples. This face cream comes in a tube with a screw cap. The tube makes it hygienic to use. It closes securely, so the cream is travel-friendly. The texture is very thick, and it needs some blending for absorption. The color is light peach, and the smell is very strong - very much like medicine. To be honest, I don’t like this product. I thought I would. I used it as a night cream because it feels like a dry ointment. I’m glad for the ‘dry’ but ‘ointment’? I’m not sure and mostly because it has no SPF. So, to begin with, I had to massage my entire face for it to blend. And after application, the skin gets a matte finish look (I am a fan of just that bit). And after I made it my regular night regime, for the first week, I could notice my oil getting controlled and my acne drying out. Seeing those results, I got my hopes up and was anticipating more positive results. But that was about it. I started getting pimples the second week. I thought it’s just my hormones, but after 4-5 days I was sure this formula isn’t working. On the fourth week, I stopped using it because my skin condition was only getting worse. Even after witnessing my tragedy, my friend still has her beliefs on Ayurvedic formulas. I am willing to try another Ayurvedic product and see how it works on me. Fingers crossed!
I have a very complicated relationship with this product. I love and hate it at the same time. To begin with, Patanjali Beauty Cream is all herbal, and it comes in a tube packaging with a screw lid. The texture of the cream is thick, and it is beige in color. I don’t really like its smell because it has a medicinal odor, but I’m glad the cream has no additional fragrance added to it to maintain its naturality. I can carry Patanjali Beauty Cream in my bag wherever I go, i.e., it won’t spill and get messy.I like this cream because it helped my skin achieve a natural glow and improved my skin tone. The thing I don’t like about this cream is that I can’t wear it during the day because it makes my skin greasy and makes me sweat a lot! This cream also does not have SPF, so it does not provide any sun protection. Once when I applied the cream during the day, I came back home looking like a melting candle and the whole way back home I cursed myself for the bad decision I took in the morning. So, I learned the lesson the hard way. I stopped using this cream during the day and started using it as a night cream. I have a combination skin type, so it works well as a night cream. Since the texture is thick, the cream needs some blending to get absorbed. On application, the smell is quite strong, but I try not to have a problem with it. So it’s like I choose to ignore the smell.Overall, the product is fine but not extraordinary. It does manage to improve my skin, so I still use it.
It was a fuss for me to pluck an aloe vera leaf from my flower pot and then clean and cut its skin to finally apply it on my face. Sometimes, I had to wait for the plant to grow when I had plucked off all its leaves. While I was on a search for an alternative, I came across Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel. It comes in a very easy and hygienic packaging. The tube is transparent, and the lid is concealed securely to avoid any spillage Its open flip cap allows for convenient use. The formula is gel-based and its texture blends well. It takes a little time to soak in and settle. Just a small amount covers the whole face. This Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel contains 90% aloe vera, and it works more or less like aloe vera itself. This tube of aloe vera gel has simplified my skincare regime. I can skip all the extra steps and all I have to do is apply the gel directly from the tube. It has been a month since I have been using this Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel. The problems I had with dull skin, major acne, and blemishes has subsided to a great extent. I have also noticed that after consistent use of aloe vera on my skin, my skin’s texture looks more refined and youthful. Before I go to bed, I wash my face and apply the gel all over it. I let it dry for some time before going to bed. The next morning I wash it off with cold water. The goodness of the gel stays with me throughout the day, and I repeat the same steps every night.Although I’m grateful that this tube reduces the fuss, I would still say that I don’t like the added color and fragrance in the formula. Aloe vera gel is supposed to be transparent and I’m sure it doesn’t have any smell, so why should this product make such changes? All this extra addition takes away the naturalness of the product. It would have scored 5 out of 5 if not for these two faults.
When I first bought this cream, I was very impressed with its packaging. The white, gold, and electric blue on the product enhance the elegant vibe. About three weeks ago, I bought the 18 g cream to try it out.The cream comes in a tube with a screw lid and a tiny hole to dispense the formula. The packaging is hygienic and travel-friendly. The formula is the lightest shade of pink and is light in texture. On application, the cream felt great on my skin. It blends well and gets easily absorbed. After use, my skin feels oil-free and soft to touch. It also cleanses my skin and gives a glow without any of that excess oil. From the first application, I started loving this cream because it controlled my oily skin very well. It gave me a matte look with a hint of glow. Even though it gives a matte finish, it hydrates my skin and makes it feel healthy. I used it every day after face wash, and with consistent use, I have noticed my tan is gone, any new pimples dry off within two days, and the blemishes I had have lightened. One of the best things about this cream is the presence of UV filters, so it works best as a day cream. It has the frangrance of flowers, and the smell lingers for a while after application, which I love. Like I said earlier, being a skeptical person and second-guessing everything, I bought the small packet for a trial. Now that it has been three weeks and I have witnessed the changes, I’m going to go ahead and purchase the bigger packet as I see myself sticking to this product for a while.Although it works well for me, it might not be the same for dry skin types as it tends to remove the oil from your face and give a matte finish. But that can be dealt with by applying a moisturizer.
My hair was nice and thick, but once I shifted to another state, the hair fall began. Heavy hair fall. Parachute Oil helped decrease the hair fall substantially. My hair is now thick and black, and it has shine as well. My hair has become strong, and I have almost no split ends. The oil has also reduced dryness. I also use it to massage my skin every other week. Within weeks, my skin has become supple and smooth.
Getting to work every day means having to be out in the sun. It made my hair brittle, dry and lifeless. We all want our hair to be voluminous. After using the oil, I could start to see improvement in my hair’s quality within two weeks. The oil has helped reduce my hair fall. It reduced the brittleness and dullness as well. My hair is now black and glossy. It is also shiny with great volume. Leave the oil overnight for best results.
