A safe product for sensitive, acne-prone skin.

My skin is the most problematic part of my body. Anything and everything shows its effect on it, especially the products I use. I have to be doubly sure of a product before it even gets anywhere around my skin. I tried this product after a lot of good reviews, research, and recommendations, and my weirdly sensitive skin loves it.

I have a few dry patches on my cheeks, and my t-zone is oily. Also, any product that doesn’t suit my skin breaks me out terribly. But with this product, life seems to be getting a little easier.

I always use a damp sponge to blend the foundation. This way, it blends well and offers medium coverage. It does not provide full coverage, and I do not like building up the product because it feels heavy. For now, I’m happy with the coverage and matte finish it provides. On days when I need to hide my imperfections better, I use a concealer.

This product has to be set with a loose powder, or else it feels very sticky. Although it dries out soon, the stickiness remains. It stays put for about 8 to 10 hours, depending on the climate and atmosphere around me. I don’t have to touch-up or blot. It controls oil and doesn’t settle into my dry patches. It’s an excellent product for me.

Controls frizz mildly

I started using hair serums about a few years ago. And over the years, I have skipped from one brand to another. Last month, I got L'Oreal Paris Smooth Intense Instant Smoothing Serum. It comes at a very affordable price. The quantity is quite a lot, so even after using it every day, I still have so much left.

The reason I started using serum is because of straightening. And I deeply regret doing that to my hair. Because now my hair needs extra care which is infuriating!

This serum comes in a plastic bottle and a flip-open cap which shuts sturdily. It is easy to use and can be carried around without spillage. The serum’s texture is as thick as oil, but it is non-greasy. The best thing about this serum is, it can be used both on dry and damp hair. So whenever I need a touch-up or want to style my hair with heating tools, I simply apply it all over.

Now that my hair is growing, I am getting a lot of frizz on my crown and temple area, which looks ugly. So I started using this serum for the sole purpose of controlling it. Does it work? Well, it makes my hair silky soft, but the frizziness is only mildly controlled. Moreover, it lasts for about two to three hours only.

I think I would have loved it if I didn’t have the frizziness problem. I will recommend it only to those whose hair isn’t badly damaged. For those whose hair needs serious attention, this serum is too mild.

Becomes very patchy

I heard so much about Bobbi Brown and with high expectations, I purchased Bobbi Brown Long-Wear Even Finish Foundation SPF 15. I wanted to like this foundation, but it gives becomes patchy and streaks horribly if I am in a humid environment. I stopped using this foundation halfway through the bottle and moved to another foundation.
