Good oil

Nihar extra care hair oil is a composition of five different oils extracted from their seeds. This comes in a bottle pack of 100ml. The overall packaging is simple but looks pretty different as its cap has all five active seeds packed, which gives the entire look change. It is non-sticky hair oil, although it has mustard seed oil as well, it does not feel that much sticky. The fragrance is mild and subtle. It provides proper care to the hair texture making them smooth and shiny. Due to the presence of active seeds, this hair oil works effectively on controlling hair fall issue as well. Due to its non-sticky and light texture, it can be used at any time of the day. Even post hair wash, this oil can be used. Along with five seeds, it has coconut oil also which strengthens the hair. So, overall this is a nice hair oil which can be used regularly.

Good for dry skin beauties

This face wash is best suited to dry skin. It is enriched with the goodness of sandal, which helps in brightening the skin tone. Its 60ml of tube retails for INR 80. The packaging looks attractive in its golden shiny opaque tube packaging. The texture is pretty smooth which comes in translucent yellow colour. The consistency is runny. Being sandal its active ingredient, its fragrance has a strong presence of sandalwood. This face wash does not lather much but cleanses the face effectively. Dry skin feels moisturized and hydrated for good long hours. In general, after face wash, the skin needs immediate moisturizing, but with this face wash, you may not feel any need of such. Additionally, a little quantity is sufficient to apply on face. Hence overall it is a nice face wash for dry skin beauties, as for oily skin this face wash may exaggerate the appearance of acne. It is priced economically.

Pro's

No harsh ingredients

Economical pricing

Con's

Strong fragrance

good but not the best

Botanica anti-ageing cream comes in a beautiful semi-transparent jar, packed with 50g of net quantity. It retails for INR 500 however it can be availed at good discounts too. This anti-ageing cream will suit best on dry skin beauties. It keeps the skin hydrated too and works pretty well on reducing fine lines and wrinkles. Additionally, this cream can be used both during the day and night. It has a very mild and subtle fragrance. This cream gets quickly absorbed by the skin without giving a feel of greasiness or oiliness. Performance-wise, the results are not noticeable much, but the hydration which it provides is good. It is comedogenic hence it does not lead to acne breakouts or redness. To conclude, I would say that this cream is nourishing, non-sticky, with a very mild fragrance. The packaging could have been better if it would be like a pump dispenser bottle. Rest, it gives a glow to the skin.

Nourish Oats Moisturizing cream comes in a tub packaging of 135g which retails for INR 551. Its white coloured plastic tube comes in a flip-to-open cap. The actual product is of white colour too which feels super soft and smooth on the skin. It feels like butter when massaged over the skin. With feel gentle strokes of massage, this moisturizing cream gets completely absorbed by the skin. Upon its usage, I can say that this cream is best suited for dry skin. It provides proper moisturization and hydration to the skin. It stays for a pretty good time. The consistency is mild and lightweight. This moisturizing cream can be used as a makeup base too. This cream has no fragrance and can be used as a day cream as well as a night cream. So, overall I can recommend this cream only to dry skin people as oily skin will get more oily and sweaty after its use.

Not worthy

As its name implies, this is a sunscreen lotion and infused with SPF 50, which provides maximum protection from the harmful UV rays of the sun. The packaging is simple in its white coloured pump dispenser type of bottle. The net quantity provided in the same is 60ml and it retails for INR 335. The consistency is quite typical like any sunscreen lotion however it takes some time to get blended with the skin. Despite it leaves a white cast behind. Secondly, its smell feels like full of chemicals. Additionally, my skin is oily and this sunscreen makes me sweatier and gives me breakouts. I don’t feel comfortable after applying this sunscreen lotion on my face. Hence, I believe that dry skin people may find this sunscreen lotion good as it can prevent sunburn. But the major drawback it does not help in preventing sun tanning. So, I do not feel it recommending this anyone.

Pro's

Prevents Sunburn

Con's

Does not blend easily

Leaves a white cast

Not for oily skin

Nice but not great

Someone had recommended trying this cream for reducing acne marks. Hence, I bought its trial pack of 30g. The tube is tiny its size hence I term it as travel-friendly. The actual product is pretty thick in its consistency and is in white. It does feel heavy or sticky on my face and a few seconds of massage it gets completely absorbed into the skin. The fragrance of this cream is pretty disappointing for me. It is strong and feels completely artificial. Although, performance-wise, this cream does its job. The acne marks which I had on my face is completely gone now and my face looks better than before. But at the same time, I felt that it can help with only minor or light blemishes only, it may not be effective in treating dark spots and heavily blemished skin. Lastly, this cream was effective in my case hence I was happy to buy this, but I won’t think it to buy it again just because of its super-strong smell

Pro's

Easy-to-carry

Different size variants

Works well on minor blemishes

Con's

Strong smell or artifical smell

Absence of complete ingredient list

Nice under eye gel

This eye contour gel comes in 15ml of the tube, which retails for INR 617. The consistency is lightweight and in gel form. This tube has necessary information imprinted on it like its usage, area of application, etc. The brand claims that this gel helps remove dark circles and it minimizes the puffiness under the eye area too. As a result, it provides a refreshed look. It should be used at night before going to bed. Please note, this is not a miracle cream which will show the result is just a single-use, rather with the continuous usage one can expect positive results. Although one may feel that the quantity provided is too less to go even for a month, as the required quantity is just like a ‘pea-sized’ hence this single tube goes for a pretty long time. Overall, this contour gel is a nice product which is non-sticky and effective,

Worthy to buy

The 30ml of the product will cost you around INR 500 and yes, the packaging is very travel-safe and convenient, though it is a translucent glass bottle. It comes along with a dropper for its proper use. The actual serum has no colour and has a very mild fragrance. The texture is on its runnier side, and of oily but it gets quickly absorbed by the skin. It has helped me to reduce acne on my skin to a great extent but due to the several other influencing factors acne do comes out again and again. The acne scars which was there on my face has lightened a lot and I believe with its continuous use it can get more better. The texture of the skin to have become smooth instead of being dry and dull. It has added shine as well on my face. So overall, I am pretty impressed with the results.

Good but slow in results

This hair tonic comes in a beautiful packaging of 200ml bottle which costs around INR 165. The bottle is transparent but looks maroonish-red due to its product. The small nozzle attached in its bottle dispenses the correct amount of product and makes it spill-proof as well. The consistency is pretty like any water but the application of this hair tonic becomes easy as it blends nicely. A non-sticky, lightweight texture makes it further better too. As its consistency is like water hence when it is being applied on the scalp it makes the hair wet, but once it dries it never feels heavy on the scalp. It is better to apply this hair tonic at night time before bed, as it gets much time to work on the scalp, and next morning one can do shampoo on the hair. Performance-wise it works slowly on its results but delivers decent results. Hair fall becomes less, hair texture becomes soft and smooth. Although it does not do anything for dandruff problem.

Pro's

Travel-friendly bottle

Leak-proof bottle

Mild fragrance

Con's

Slow result

Does not control Dandruff

Good and herbal

The packaging of this aloe vera gel looks like of any face wash. A typical plastic tube with flip-to-open cap gives a very simple look to its packaging. Its 100g of tube retails for INR 220. The brand claims that it is herbal and enriched with Aloe, Haldi (Turmeric) and Kesar (Saffron). Herbal Aloe Vera gel helps in preventing the occurrence of the pimples, acne marks, dark circles and wrinkles. It provides the natural moisture of the skin. Skin looks glowy and fresh. It is good to apply this gel at night before going to bed after cleansing your face. It does not make the skin dry. Its gel-like consistency and smooth texture get easily absorbed by the skin. It does not have any fragrance, not any colour, which is a plus point. Overall, this is a nice and safe aloe vera gel and can be used regularly. Hence this product can be recommended.
