Makes hair smoother and softer
Eliminates dandruff and other scalp infections
I suffered mild hair loss in my mid-twenties. I really didn’t care until it got to a point where my hairline started moving backward. Suddenly, I felt like I started losing more hair than ever. That is how quickly it can happen. I felt stuck, not knowing what to do to prevent myself from going bald. My friend at work suggested I check out hair growth oils with herbal extracts since they have minimal side effects and are free from harsh chemicals that strip natural oils from hair. I started looking for one. That’s when I saw the advert of Indulekha hair oil and everything about the hair oil looked too good to be true.
Unconvinced about what I saw, I went online and searched for a few reviews. I browsed through several images and videos showing the ‘before and after’ photographs of people who tried it on. While a few photos and videos were convincing, some did not look natural at all. After spending a lot of time going through such customer reviews and complaints, I had absolutely no idea whether Indulekha oil would be helpful for me. I badly wanted to find out one thing: Is the Indulekha Bringha oil good or bad? I thought I would be better off trying it myself rather than just read through random reviews on Mouthshut and other websites including Amazon.
Finally, I decided to give it a try and see whether it can give me good results. In the rest of the post, I am going to give you a detailed account of my observations about this all new hair formula. We’ll have a look at everything there is to know about the Indulekha Bringha oil. From packaging to results, we will dig in and look at all the things so you can make a well-informed decision as to whether it is worth buying Indulekha hair oil for the amazing results that the maker claims it can give you.

Today, I am going to talk about Citra Pearl Fair Face Cream. Few weeks ago, my skin turned so dull and I was like, I need something to help my skin get rid of the dullness and brighten up my skin. And this Citra Pearl Fair Face cream is doing quite a buzz so I thought of why not I try this product for myself. I bought this product from a nearby store and used it on myself and here I am, going to tell you my views about the product that how well it worked on my skin. Packaging:- The product comes in a white paper pack with all the details and name written in it. Inside the pack there is the tube with the product filled in it. The tube has a pump dispenser in it which makes it easy to pump out the product for use, and also to keep it safe from any accidental pump or leakage, it also has a transparent plastic cap in it.
The product is small and handy, easy to carry on my vanity, thus, making it a travel friendly product. The texture of the face cream is light than any other fairness cream. The face cream is white in colour and has a shine in it. Though, the face cream has a strong smell but is pleasant and the smell goes after few minutes. The product claims to nourish and smooth skin's surface, provides instant luminous effect, reduces dark marks and evens out skin tone from deep inside which results skin that is naturally glowing with an even radiance within epidermis. My skin type is dry to combination and also my skin is sensitive, and I do have dark areas on my face like dark circles on my eye area and hyper pigmentation around my mouth area and some dark spots on my chin area. I can say yes to what the product claims, it actually has smooth out my skin surface, providing instant luminous effect but I cannot see any reduction of dark marks on my skin. But the face cream has actually remove suntan from my skin.
It gives an instant even out skin tone when applied and does not makes my skin look patchy at all. Because I have dry skin to combination skin type this face cream goes matte when I apply, it makes my skin feel more dry and stretchy and is not at all moisturizing. Also it doesn't have SPF in it which makes it not suitable to wear without sunscreen. Also this face cream from Citra is not free from Paraben. People with oily skin can try this Citra Pearl Fair Face Cream, but dry to very dry skin type people look for other face creams specially made for your skin type. Also I want to say, sensitive and acne prone skin type people can go for it cause I can say it’s totally safe for use.
Reduces dark circles and puffiness
Makes the skin glow
Provides UV protection
Olay Natural White Night Cream contains twice the mulberry leaf extract, which is proved to not only whiten your skin, but also optimizing its texture leaving your skin feeling feather soft. So wake up to fairer, smoother skin. Nourishes skin from deep inside 2X whitening effect Intense moisturizing Reveals skin health and radiance The packaging is cute. Although of no use after getting the bottle out. The bottle itself is very classy with a translucent base. Could be easily carried in handbag. The cream soothes out well when applied and doesn’t clump at all. It’s light and silky with a mild soothing fragrance, which is very pleasant.
What I like the most about the cream is that it leaves the skin really soft and smooth. It makes for a perfect base for applying makeup. I moisturize my face 10mins prior to makeup and the result is perfect. When in hurry I just dab a compact with a gloss and kajal and I m done…. As for the whitening effect, I did notice an improvement in my complexion after 3weeks of use.. Friends literally asked me about the secret behind it. Imagine a women complimenting another woman, —WOW A BIG ACHIEVEMENT!!!!
It also aided to improve my skin tone and texture Another plus point is the SPF-24 content. I don’t have to put an extra layer on top. Which I love the most. Very little amount is required. Only a pea size amount is enough. I am using this on daily basis for about 2 month but still some left to go for about 15 days more I guess. I doesn’t contain bleaching agent. For people with oily skin like me, you’re better off using another product if you have huge issues with oiliness. Olay Natural White Cream is perfect for people with normal to dry skin and want a product that will moisturize, improve skin tone and fight hyper pigmentation.

My view about L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti-Imperfections + Whitening Cream (with UV Filters) for Age 20+ this is available in transparent glass tub that is round and has gold screw cap. the packaging looks very good but the jar is bit bulky that may not be suitable for travelling purpose I wish they has this in the pump dispenser that would have made it hygienic and also easy to use. the colour of the cream is light orange (peach) and has smooth texture. too little amount of cream is required for application on face and neck.
you need to blend this properly to get awesome matte finish and brightening effect. this adds a little glow and is best for oily skin. This also acts as a good moisturizer when applied with compact. this helps to give a even tone to the skin and helps in minimizing the pores. it doesn’t get greasy till 4 hours while you can get even more oil-free skin if set with powder. this has UV Filters that makes it a descent day cream for skin that is oily and combination.
the fragrance of the cream is like any facial cream that isn’t bothering. it claims whitening effect on the skin but fails to live up to its claim. L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti-Imperfections + Whitening Cream (with UV Filters) for Age 20+ descent packaging OK fragrance Matte finish to the skin Brightens and adds skin glow controls skin oil Easily availability easy to blend Best for oily and Combination skin ratings: 4/5 Final Verdict on L’Oreal Paris Skin Perfect Anti-Imperfections + Whitening Cream (with UV Filters) for Age 20+ : this cream adds a matte finish and acts as a best moisturizer for oily and combination skin. you can buy this for a decent day care cream
Gel-like texture that gets easily absorbed into your skin
Fights acne and pimples
90% aloe vera extract
Contains vitamin E
Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel is a light green colored gel with a medium thick texture. I find it slightly hard to control the amount to be dispatched. It spreads out nicely and the green tint disappears on application. It has a strong alcoholic scent with hints of Aloe Vera which definitely feels artificial. Initially, I couldn’t handle its strong scent which is very rare for me. The Aloe Vera Gel gets absorbed quickly into the skin but some of it still sits on the top. I can feel it on my skin for some time. But if I wash my face even hours after application I can feel the product washing out with a slippery touch to my fingers. In Conclusion it doesn’t get completely absorbed into the skin.
Results: The Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel makes some tall claims of working on acne marks, removal of pigmented spots, providing moisturization and beautifying skin. I have been using it regularly as a day time moisturizer for past couple of weeks and I can say that I have seen no improvement in my skin. It doesn’t provide much nourishment to my dry skin. It is mildly hydrating. Neither do I feel it has worked on acne marks or pigmentation spots for me. I haven’t used any other Aloe Vera Gel so can’t compare but I am not impressed with this one. Will, try the Just Herbs Aloe Vera Gel next and update you with the same. I have natural Aloe Vera Gel and it was so much better than this. I know it is a mess to handle and a lot of effort to get the juice out of the Aloe Leaf but the results make it totally worth the pain. I also tried the Benton Aloe Vera Gel which again is far better than this one in terms of texture, formula and performance as it gets quickly absorbed into the skin without any residue behind.
Recommendation: Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel is an affordable Aloe Vera gel which claims to contain 90% of the Aloe Vera Juice. It provides mild hydration to my skin but that’s everything. The gel has a strong alcoholic fragrance which is quite difficult to handle. I don’t feel it has done anything for my skin. I see no improvement in texture, pigmentation and marks. I feel it is a very average product which is blown out of proportion. If you are sensitive to fragrances than definitely skip this. Also, I wanted to know what preservatives are used in the products but it isn’t mentioned on the packaging. I am definitely not a fan of this Patanjali Aloe Vera Gel because it does nothing amazing or even ordinary for my skin.
Contains vitamin E
This foundation gives a very sheer to slightly moderate coverage. If I try to build up the coverage, it starts looking cakey. So that is something we all should be careful about while using this foundation. We need to use it in the right amount or it does not look very good. On the other side, when this is used properly, it does give a pretty even finish on the face. It hides light and slight blemishes. Does not make the face look very oily, not does it make the skin look very matte. Another important aspect while buying this foundation is the shade selection.
Although there are only 4 shades available in the market, I would advise you ladies to test out the shades before buying. For very fair skin ladies, the shade pearl would be good. But for ladies with my skin tone, the shade “Shell” would be a good choice. Shell is actually one of those shades which would work well with almost all Indian skin tones. The foundation holds good on my skin for approximately 2-3 hours. It does need frequent touch ups with a loose powder since it is a sheer foundation. It never caused any skin irritation or broke me out. It is quite moisturising as well may be due to the presence of Vitamin E. However, for the ladies with dry skin type, use of a moisturiser underneath is recommended.
Thus basically, this foundation is actually an amazing budget friendly choice for ladies looking for sheer coverage foundation with not so long staying power. Of course I would not recommend this for any occasion of festive makeup, I do think this is a pretty great option as a daily wear foundation. I want to compare it to tinted moisturisers like our BB cream and CC cream, but let us just separate it from that category since it does call itself a Foundation. Because of its sheer coverage, I guess 4 shades are enough since a shade which is near to your skin tone, when blended properly looks quite alright.
Makes your skin glow
The texture of this beauty cream is slightly on the thicker side . It needs some rubbing and massaging before it gets absorbed completely . This cream feels slightly sticky and heavy for my liking, and it made me sweat . Beauty cream moisturized my skin like anything ! Made it soft and supple, and with regular use I believe it may make it problem free as well ...
But , I do not like to use it when I am about to go out in the sun because it makes my skin look slightly oily, which I do not have any major issues with . It makes the dry feeling on the skin vanish and the effect lasts all day long ; at least until I cleanse my face . I love what it does to my skin and the after effects are also very good . The best part is it did not break me out , like my previous day cream had . . I wish it came with some SPF as it would have been beneficial for the coming hot sun and also sans the greasy part .
But , what more can I ask from a wonderful herbal product at this price ! 😀 I never stop being greedy . 😛 Well , this is a good treat for dry skinned beauties . This is definitely worth a try . Overall , it is a good cream to be used during the day as well as night . Hat ' s off to Baba Ramdev for introducing us to ‘ Made in Bharat ’ products that are so well priced for all the users and perform excellently . What more could I have asked for ! ? 😀 Do give a try to Patanjali Beauty cream .

I have been using Vicco Turmeric for about 6-7 years now. I did take a break from it once, and am regretting it. When I started college, I stopped using Vicco Turmeric, I’m not sure why, but I did, instead I started this new cream called the Olay Natural White All in One Fairness(both night and day one) and well, in the beginning it was all going great. My skin never felt better, but in the last one year this cream gave me so many problems… no matter what I did, how little or more I put on it never did what I wanted it to do. Either I my T-zone got too oily or my cheeks started to crack up.
And in the winters, this cream was a nightmare. My skin was a mess, flaky and dry skin all over, no matter how much or how many times I applied it. So, eventually I was fed up of this cream and maybe it was not the fault in the cream, but over a period of time, my skin itself became immune to it or something but, whatever it was doing right before, it was not working any longer. So, one day while searching for a new cream I recalled Vicco Turmeric and instantly I knew that I had to get it and start working on the damage that that Olay cream had done to my skin. My mom is a big fan of the grandma’s nuske as we all call it, and believes whole-heartedly in all things Ayurvedic and herbal.
She is not against chemical products and understands their importance, but she very strongly feels that though the chemical based products might be effective quicker, their results don’t last long and the constant use of such high chemicals on the skin day after day can take a toll on your skin, causing it long term harm. Initially I did not believe her, but after going through the effects of using such chemical based face cream I too am a strong adviser of more natural and herbal based products.
The bleach activator and crème come in a sturdy tub and the contents are baby pink in colour. They provide an instructions leaflet and safe use spoon, what I find missing is the pre-bleach or post-bleach crème which is otherwise provided by oxy bleach. This saffron Bleach doesn’t shout about any big claims except Vitamin E and Saffron content. They have mentioned in ingredients that ‘Saffron through perfume’ so this basically means just the fragrance of saffron is present not the real content. ‘Vitamin E Acetate’ which after searching Google I found that, it is a part of vitamin e which is often used for moisturizing skin and hair growth Fem Fairness Naturals makes one fair (obviously it will because it’s a bleach and is meant to work this way).
The fragrance is good but it bothers my nose after some time. The fem bleach makes my facial hair too light so it’s advisable to use the activator accordingly. Fem Saffron Fairness Crème bleach comes in a pink colored cardboard box. It has various contents. The large jar has the bleach crème. It has a screw lid. The jar has another light, flexible lid which can be seen after opening the main screw cap. This inner lid is very difficult to push inside once it comes out. It becomes next to impossible to push it back inside. I ended up spoiling my hands several times while trying to push it inside. The small, spherical jar has activator inside it.
The lid of the activator is quite sturdy. It has a double-sided spoon in it, the large spoon is for crème and small spoon is for activator. The spoon is a new addition to Fem bleaches. I guess it is a very good idea because I always had problem with estimating the quantity of crème and bleach earlier. I either ended with very strong bleach or very light bleach. I loved the idea of spoon in it. There’s a spatula inside the box also. It is used to mix the bleach crème and activator
Moisturizes and hydrates lips
Contains shea butter, cocoa butter, jojoba oil, and olive oil
I think these are very good for the price, even though the quantity is on the lower side (2.2 g). The color selection is very fresh and I can see myself using several of these shades. These lip crayons have a basic lightweight crayon packaging with a black cap. These are not twist up crayons; you have to sharpen them up. The best part is, every single crayon comes with a free sharpener I mean I am really amazed that a brand like Lakme is offering a crayon at such an affordable rate, and giving away 2 in 1 sharpeners with every crayon.
Yes it’s a 2 in 1 sharpener. It’s actually kind of big, and has 2 slots. One is for normal sharpening and the other one is meant for getting a fine tip. Hence, yes you don’t have to buy a lip liner separately. Each crayon has a colour coded outer label which has all the details about the product. However I am really disappointed that there is no ingredient list. All the crayons have a very soft and velvety texture. They feel very light on the lips and it almost doesn’t feel like you’re wearing a lipstick. The formula is non drying and also, it keeps lips looking plum all through the wear time. It never accentuated lip lines of settle in fine lines.
Speaking of the pigmentation, Lakme did quite an amazing job. All the shades have decent pigmentation except for the last 3 shades i.e. 08 Baby Pink, 09 Cinnamon Pink and 10 Blushing Pink. Rest all the shades have beautiful pigmentation and you get 100% full colour pay off in a single swipe. Also, these lip crayons have a semi matte finish on the lips as Lakme claims. So they feel super comfortable. Overall I feel these are an absolutely amazing lip crayon range at a crazy inexpensive price tag. There are all the classic shades as well as super wearable for almost all skin tones. If you are on a budget, totally check out these lipsticks. They have a comfortable semi matte formula. These are tiny crayons, so you can always put them in your purse for touch ups. These are great gifting option as well!
Skin Cream: I used yogurt or cream and turmeric pack on a regular basis. But eventually they started leaving a lot of stains and it kind of became an additional effort for me. I liked the way they worked on my skin but did not have patience for the after work. So I stopped using it. The moment I got this cream this time I first thought of that thing. My effort is all gone…yAayy!! It comes in a bad looking tube. Really hate the packaging.
Now they say that we can apply the cream during daytime and night-time as well. But I personally feel that if I use it during daytime it tends to make my skin oily and plus I can’t roam around with the turmeric smell always. So I use it on my skin at night, nicely blend it and let it soak in for the whole night. The effect I get on the next morning is awesome!! Firstly it helped me reduce a lot of blemishes. At least they are quiet lighter now. Mainly and most importantly since the time I have started using this cream regularly I haven’t had any major acne, pimple or red skin outbreak…!!! Thanks a lot for that.
My skin on the cheeks is hyper sensitive to pollution and sunlight. So whenever I use this cream, my skin on cheeks doesn’t burn. Nor does it turn red or give rashes. I haven’t seen any side effects as of now. Have been using it for almost 2 months now. One main thing I observed that people from abroad are highly attracted to this cream. And that is why the quality has improved or something. Nonetheless it’s really nice and I guess every girl should try this once. If you are oil skinned you might want to skip the one with sandalwood oil.
Makes skin two tones fairer
I think I have used almost all the Garnier fairness products and the ultra night cream from Garnier is the one on my hit list. The thing about these Garnier creams that attracts me to buy them is the pure lemon essence that these fairness creams have. Lemon is widely known as a natural bleach and it does give fairness to the skin, so this is one reason, and in this particular cream, they have one more ingredient called “Active White Molecule,” so this may increase the synergistic effect. This cream comes in a white, plastic, small tub which is actually different from those yellow tubs in which usually Garnier creams come in.
The cream is white in colour and is moderately thick and will get absorbed into the skin within 2 minutes of massaging. The tub is a plastic one, so no need to worry about breakage, I had one Garnier cream that was made of glass. This is small in size, so very easy to carry as well. It’s a tub so when the product almost gets over, you will have to put the entire finger inside to remove the cream, but as it is not that deep, no need to worry actually. It’s a day cream, not mentioned anywhere, but as it contains SPF, it is understood. Talking about the claims, it did satisfy all the claims that are mentioned above. When I applied it, my skin instantly looked brighter and white and a little glow was also there.
It gave glow like BB cream, the only difference is that it does not provide coverage, obviously because it’s a cream. About the sun protection, can’t really comment, but my skin did not get tanned after using this cream at all. It did help to lighten my dark spots and fade them to give a clear looking skin, although they did not claim about this. After using the cream for 22 days, my skin has really become fair, I don’t know how many tones but it has. I did not really measure how many tones because I was satisfied that at least it gave me a fairer and a brighter looking skin. I am going to be loyal towards this product and will tell you all too to give this brightening cutie a try!
Evens out skin tone
Provides UV protection
Provides basic coverage
Conceals dark spots and blemishes
I found it at the Lakme counter and picked it up, not knowing how many shades were available or anything as it had just been launched. The shade I got is “Bronze.” Later, I got to know that there are two shades available Bronze for darker skin and Beige for light/medium skin. Sadly, I got the bronze shade which is a bit darker for my skin tone. I have wheatish complexion (I don’t know exactly, but the skin tone Deepika Padukone has!) with neutral undertones.
The cream has the typical “Lakme” fragrance that all Lakme products have (I like it because it has a nostalgic vibe to it :p). It is a bit thick in consistency though it blends out very well. I used fingers for application because a flat foundation brush just ate up the CC cream (you know how I talked about flat brushes having that special ”drinking” capabilities!) It blends like a dream! Because I have neutral (not yellow or pink) undertones, it suited me although made me look “bronzed” literally. It was like I had applied a beautiful bronzer all over my face! You need more than your typical BB cream, but that does not make you look cakey. Coming to coverage, it covers pores/minor spots with a breeze! It gave such a beautiful natural looking, non cakey, non made up coverage like no other drugstore stuff I have used before, my skin looked airbrushed! The effect is somewhat dewy. I have combination skin, more oily during summers and in this rainy weather in Kolkata (it is raining like cats and dogs since weeks now!), it stayed oil free for only 3 hours.
I am sure in hot summers, it will make my t-zone oily in no time, that’s the only minus point in this otherwise fabulous product; however, I did not wear any compact and that must be noted because usually I always wear compact to stay oil free. It is most suitable for normal skinned beauties, dry skin beauties will love it as well and for combination and oily skinned girls, we surely need a compact and a tissue to blot!
Gets absorbed quickly
Protects skin from UV rays
Brightens the skin
Does not clog pores
There were so many new face creams and foundations by Lotus that I was so confused at the store. At the end I picked up something that looked very everyday and gave a nice finish to the skin. It also smells very good and seemed pretty blendable. The packaging is a very convenient tube that allows you to control the amount of product dispensed. This creme is available in only one colour. There is another BB cream/foundation that comes in different shades. If you think this might be light, you should look into that one. On my skin, the colour is a good match as it is very light coverage and easy to blend. The colour is medium light and settles down to your skin shade once used.
This creme is so blendable and does not leave a white cast. I have combination oily skin and I just use a moisturizer on the dry areas of my face before using this, for the rest of the face just this BB is enough. It settles to a matte finish and does not make your face oily for a good 2 hours. Although it says matte it’s not a matte but flat type finish. It almost feels watery to the touch which I think is the reason for it being very blendable. The coverage is very very light. It will just even out your skin tone the slightest bit and wont cover up and imperfections. I use this in the mornings and then later on use another BB Creme of mine as a foundation/base makeup. As for the fairness part I dont think it does anything neither do I expect it to, if it can help with the pigmentation I would be pretty happy.
This creme has almost replaced my moisturizer that I used in the day. The SPF 30 has replaced my sunscreen as I use a generous amount in the mornings. I dont really get the time to do the whole reapply drill as that is a little hard to when you are at work with a face full of makeup. I am very impressed with Lotus Herbals as an organic Indian brand trying to come up with new products as per the latest trends. I didnt need the other foundations/BB cremes but I am sure they would perform very well. The Matte look sunscreen was a big favourite of mine. I highly recommend you to check this creme out if you are looking for something that looks natural and is easy to use everyday. It would be perfect for college going students. It moisturizes well and does not cling to the dry parts of the skin.
Addictive floral-coffee scent

Black Opium is not even remotely related to Opium, except for the brand and the name tag. Whether you’re an Opium hater or lover, this is a beautiful fragrance for you. I am a self-confessed OPIUM addict; so I just had to try this one out as well. As much as I like the perfume, I hate the way YSL has named it. They have totally encashed on Opium’s popularity to create a mass appeal. I feel they could have named it something else, and it would not have raised as many eyebrows. Creating an entirely different fragrance and then, making it sound darker, sexier and more dangerous than Opium; that is so not done YSL. Ok, enough of harping on the name! Now, let’s talk about the fragrance.
Black Opium is so not black. It is not d
