A Summer Must-Have

I had heard so many good things about this toner. The thing is, I watched endless number of YouTube reviews about the brand 'Biotique' and I absolutely fell in love with its ideology. As an oily-skin girl I was on the hunt down for the perfect skin routine and I still am. During this hunt down, I came across this Biotique Bio Cucumber Pore Tightening Toner in particular. I gave it a try and I was mighty impressed. The packaging is enough to wheel you in, but the product itself is quite good too. After trying it out for a few months and almost finishing my first bottle (as you can see in the photo attached) I can say that the toner is quite satisfactory and has given me the tightening effect that it claims to give. I also read about this hack wherein you can store the bottle in the fridge for an extra cooling effect; I tried it and I was in heaven. Overall, its a good product and I recommend it to my fellow oily skin beauties. Although, the alcohol-like smell can be gotten rid of.

A Tired Classic

Okay, so Dabur Gulabari Premium Rose Water was the first "toner" I ever used. As a teenage girl, I had heard a lot about it and it was popular amongst the teenage girl crowd in my higher secondary school. I never thought much about it then. However, after years of experience in trying different skin care products and learning what's right for my skin, I now realise that using this rose water wasn't my best move. It has a nice fragrance but the ingredients are pro-chemical and I personally don't like that aspect. With so many different organic and natural driven products coming into the market I feel like Dabur can step up their game much more. Organic rose water can be made so easily at home so I don't think this product is doing any body's skin justice. However, I have to say that it is a great addition to a DIY face pack, mask or scrub which one can use occasionally. I have recently purchased a new bottle of the product for that very purpose.

Can be mixed with packs

Biotique Never Dissappoints

I bought this amazing shampoo off of the Nykaa website and I am so glad I trusted Biotique products. The Biotique Bio Kelp Fresh Growth Protein Shampoo claims to aim at hair growth. About a year ago, I started losing my hair to a large extent. It was traumatising because luckily I have inherited my mother's thick hair volume. Sadly that did not last long when I started to shed hair and my thickness was reduced to a scary amount. Now, I am not going to claim that this shampoo brought back my thick hair but I can say that it has given it more volume and has also improved my hair texture. I have been using it for a few months now. Only a small amount is required and my hair feels fresh after every use. I totally recommend this to all those ladies losing your hair, however do not depend on it as a hair-loss remedy. Please note that I am using the 200 ml version of the product hence it looks different than the product on the website.

Imparts shine to hair

Nourishes your hair

Free of SLS

Free of parabens

Free of preservatives

Improves hair texture

Brings a bounce to the hair

Does not lather easily

Although it does not lather easily, I don't mind it. It shows that the amount of chemicals used are less which is a good sign to me.

Makes Makeup Dissappear

Whatever I say about this product will not be enough to showcase my love for it. The Garnier Micellee Cleansing Water had me at "even for sensitive skin". If you're someone like me who's a bit lazy and is looking for a quick way to get rid of your applied makeup, then this is the product for you. I had heard of the hype about this Micellar water and I never really expected it to be all that great. I purchased it for the first time last December as I needed it during wedding season. After coming back home at 1 am in the morning, I didn't really have the patience to remove my makeup with wipes or even double cleanse sometimes. This product made my "unready" process so much quicker. I removes liquid lipstick well although I think the oil based version would do it much better. My only concern is that it stings my eyes really badly when I attempt to take off eye makeup and I end up with red eyes. This aspect can be improved maybe with a gentler formula. Overall, I totally recommend this micellar water for those who apply light makeup and also as a mild cleanser for teens!

No alcohol
