I have oily skin, but it's not acne-prone. I don't break out very often. Also, I enjoy trying new products that I feel might work for me. My sister had got herself this Neemli Naturals Argan & Rose Day Cream and was loving it. Her skin is mostly normal, but it tends to get a little oily in summers and spring, and winters are dry for her. This cream was working like a charm for her. Her skin appeared brighter and softer. It was glowing. I thought of giving it a try too. The cream has a very gel-like texture that is very similar to the other creams meant for oily skin. I used it for a week and day and night like I would use any other cream. But, it broke me out after a week of continuous use. I didn't mind one pimple, so I continued the usage, and the count of pimples increased. This cream is great, but it doesn't work for oily skin that tends to break out even once in a while. I read reviews people with oily skin using it and loving it, but it didn't work for me. However, it is great for anyone with normal, dry, or combination skin type. For anyone with oily skin wanting to try this cream, I'd recommend trying a sample before purchasing it as it not very affordable. It might or might not work for you.

This might sound judgmental, but I am hesitant when it comes to using Patanjali products. You can even call it a mental block. I wanted to try this cream to get out of my comfort zone. So I went ahead and bought it.
The first thing that put me off was the name. Very generic. But when you read underneath it, it says "for natural beauty and glow of the skin." Then I thought, what the heck, let me see how it goes. Next was the smell. I am all for scented creams, but this is not pleasant. But that can be very subjective. Many people I know like this smell.
I used the cream on my hand for a week to see if it would make a difference. The only thing it did was add some hydration to my hands: no glow and no 'beauty.' But exaggerations aside, it didn't do what it was supposed to.
As this is a natural product and it didn't harm my hands, I decided to use it on my face. Now, this is where you hit reality. This cream makes your face greasy, which in turn attracts the dust to settle on your face. Eventually, because of that, your skin looks dull and you look two shades darker. This is not what I expect from a cream that promises glow.
A pure turmeric and curd mixture at home works better than this.
My friends know that I don't prefer to use Patanjali products. But they forced me into buying this. And for once I am glad that they did. As any hesitant user, I started to use it on my hands and feet and then moved on to my face. My pre-set notions didn't let me think straight. It took me a while to get used to the fact that this cream was showing results.
On my hands and feet, the results were terrific. They were soft and well moisturized for over 6 hrs; feet more than hands. The cream is thick and greasy on application but settles down in some time. It has a very mild smell, which is better considering how Patanjali's other products are. I didn't have to go for a pedicure for an entire month. At this cost, this is a boon.
On the face, the results were not up to the mark. It would make me feel moreoily and greasy. The skin wouldn't be dry but look messy which is something I am not comfortable with. But this can be used as a make up base.
It is travel sized, but the packaging is not very safe. It opened and spread all over my bag once. But cleaning it wasn't a hassle, so no worries there.
I would recommend this as an affordable everyday cream for the feet.
Suitable for hands and feet
Not suitable for face

My skin shade is NC45 and my sister recommended me to try out the new lip pencil by Mac. The Mac lip pencil shade Ruby Woo is the perfect match for me. It glides on your lips without leaving a break or crease. It is highly pigmented, making it easy to apply without much pressure. You can use the liner to fill your lips as well. It gives you a subtle hint of color distributed evenly and lasts long. I alternate it as a liner and lipstick as per my mood. The final look is not as deep as the lipstick. But it still looks great.
For beginners, do check out the tutorial for perfect application. Also, walk into the MAC store and get the suggestion of the right shade for your skin tone. If you are someone who doesn’t like to add a lot of drama to your lips, then pair this liner with a lip balm. It works like a charm. I can't believe I didn't buy this sooner. This is a choice you won't regret.
I am a dark skinned Indian currently residing in the southern part of India. I use a two-wheeler, so getting tanned is a part of my job description. I purchased this product out of sheer desperation to improve my tan and uneven skin tone. According to me, the word ‘fairness’ should be eliminated from a product name list.
So, moving on, the product title says fairness cream, but at the back of the tube a few positive points are written - Lightens and evens skin tone, helps reduce blemishes and dark spots, helps reduce under-eye dark circles, nourishes skin, moisturizes without leaving skin greasy.
The cream didn't do any of it. NONE. When you apply the cream, it forms a thin white layer on your face. It makes your skin stretchy and matte. If you touch or rub your face later, the cream starts to fall out looking like dirt. It doesn't moisturize your skin at all. The only thing good about this is that it isn't greasy. That's it.
Kindly stay away from this cream and don't fall for its so-called benefits. It doesn't work. And if you are someone who is looking to get fair with this, then you are in for a disappointment.
