I often wear makeup but do take care of my skin by removing it before hitting the bed. I have used a lot of makeup cleansers, some very expensive and some really affordable, but the fact that there is alcohol as an ingredient in it, makes me worried! Oriental Botanic micellar water is a soothing and calming makeup remover and it does not have alcohol or any harmful chemicals in it. It is very gentle on the skin and leaves a subtle glow after it takes off every spec of makeup from my face. I would highly recommend getting this micellar water as it is a complete value for money!
Suitable for al skin types
Gentle and mild on skin
Ideal for daily use
If you are looking for a complete hair care kit for hairfall then this is the right product for you. I've used all the four products for a week and the results were great. Especially the red onion hair conditioner and the hair mask. They make a very nourishing combo. The red onion hair oil is enriched with the goodness of castor oil that stimulates hair growth and so I often leave it overnight to work on my scalp and hair. The shampoo lathers really well and so only a bit of it would suffice for cleansing the hair and scalp. Overall, a value for money!
No mineral oils
When I started experiencing drastic hair loss after childbirth, I realized that it about time I added in proper supplements to fulfil the nutritional requirements of my body. I've been having fish oil since I was a kid but somehow missed taking it for a few years due to pregnancy and medications. I decided to continue taking fish oil capsules and St Botanica being my recent favourite brand of personal care products, I decided to opt for it. These capsules have double the strength than the normal fish oil capsules available at the pharmacy. They are highly potent and made without any harmful additives. It is easy to swallow and no fishy burps later in the day. I would totally recommend this to everyone for keeping up with the nutritional quotient.

I've been a fan of Tresemme ever since I tried their shampoos for the very first time. Tresemme Pro Protect Sulphate-Free Shampoo is a sulphate-free product that does not load my hair with chemicals while cleansing it. I love the wonderful fragrance of the shampoo that uplifts the mood. It stays for quite a long time even after the hair is dry. My scalp feels clean and my hair looks silky after using this shampoo. I would totally recommend this shampoo from Tresemme to everyone who is looking for a sulphate-free shampoo that adds a healthy shine to your mane.
Conditioners are not mostly a part of my hair care routine due to two reasons - 1. I have fine hair and my hair feels limp after using conditioner. 2. Availability of a sulphate-free conditioner is very minimal. Even there are organic and natural conditioners without sulphates, they do not give the desired results. However, Tresemme Pro Protect conditioner is amazing in every aspect. It smoothens the hair follicles and reverses damaged ends. The fragrance is great and lingers for a while. Though I do not use it every time along with the shampoo, but once a week usage of this conditioner definitely fixes my hair woes. Absolutely worth it!
I picked up Essence Pure Nude Highlighter while shopping for cosmetics online as it was quite affordable and being familiar with the quality of products in this brand. It comes in a compact form with a transparent lid that reveals the shade of the highlighter. I like that it has subtle shimmers that give a nice glow to the skin. It looks quite natural on my skin tone and does not give an over-the-top highlighting effect. It's perfect for both day and nightwear as the glow is very natural and yet highlights the best features of the face. I only wish it came with an applicator brush and has a little more intensity so that it could be worn for party or any other special occasion. However, this is a great product at such an affordable range. I totally recommend this highlighter to everyone who loves glowy skin all day but does not want to spend a fortune on expensive highlighters.
I love shampoos that give a squeaky clean effect since my hair catches a lot of dirt and grime due to frequent travelling. I keep experimenting with shampoos and have tried a gazillion products on my hair as I get bored sticking to just one product. Meera Anti Dandruff Shampoo was a random pick while shopping groceries because I've tried their shikkakai powder and quite liked it. So, this shampoo is enriched with the goodness of almond and shikkakai which is a great hair cleanser as well as a nourishing ingredient. This cleanses my scalp really well. During summers when my hair gets oily and limp, I use this shampoo. It does work on dandruff but the results are a bit slow. It suits my hair really well as I have an oily scalp. But, if your hair is dry you may skip using this shampoo or use a conditioner after shampooing as it makes the hair a bit dry.
I have used Tresemme Moisture Rich Shampoo with Vitamin E a few months back and would like to share a few things about the product. Apart from the packaging, Tresemme shampoos are really worth trying since they give amazing results. However, it is not the case with all the shampoos in this range. The moisture-rich shampoo has a great fragrance and lathers really well. But, if you are conscious about sulphates in your shampoo then this is not the one for you. However, if you are only bothered about the cleansing part, then this is a great buy. It provides shine and a bit of volume to the hair. Added vitamin E nourishes the hair without drying it out. The shampoo also helps in locking it the moisture in the hair and thus making it look healthy. It did not make my scalp oily or whatsoever and I never got the problem of dandruff after using this. Hence, I recommend using this shampoo as it is a value for money.
Akrot of walnut is rich in vitamin E and other minerals that are essential for maintaining the skin healthy and glowing. A friend of mine follows a strict CTM routine with regular masking and has great skin. When I asked her about the products that she uses, she mentioned Indulekha Akrot Face Packas one of them. I was surprised to know that even natural brands like Indulekha can give instant results. This face pack comes in a tube form which is the only thing I did not like about the product. Otherwise, the ingredients used in making this face pack does not include harmful chemicals and is made from natural ingredients like walnuts only. You just need to keep this mask for a few minutes and scrub it off before rinsing it. This face pack gives a beautiful glow to the skin as it energizes it. This is recommended for people with all skin types as it is nourishing and non-drying in nature.
I got VLCC Natural Sciences Ultimo Blends Charcoal Face Pack considering the ingredients used in it. A few months back I had few acne on my face which I badly wanted to get rid off and so i bought this. Activated charcoal is great for acne and oily skin but most of the charcoal-based skincare products I've used have only disappointed me. This is one among them. I have combination skin which tends to get oily in the T-Zone during summers. I also get acne and pimples more often due to hormones and my binge eating habits. This face pack aggravated the pimples instead of curing it. So, I discarded it completely and moved on with another mask that helped me cure my pimples. However, it did brighten my skin a bit and did not dry out my skin. But, I would not recommend this face pack for acne-prone skin due to my bad experience.
