Provides intense nourishment to hair
Minimizes hair fall
Strong herbal smell
I have normal hair and any oil works well for me. However, I started using Keshkanti on the recommendation of my mom who started using it years ago, when Patanjali was not even launched as a brand. They used to sell their products in yoga camps and it is from there my mom used to buy it. All in my family are blessed with good hair and we would not try anything that has too many chemicals. This came as a perfect thing, an Ayurvedic mix of herbs to nourish our hair. Have been using it on and off and it is one of the good oils available in the market, and perhaps the best one at the given price. I apply the oil on weekend , mostly just twice a month and it works really well for me. There is no hairfall and the hair looks lustrous too. The oil is thick and unlike many other light water-like hair oils. If you put too much of it, it can make your hair too oily, but then it’s a oil, isn’t it? The packaging is also simple and convenient. All in all a good product to nourish your hair at an affordable price, without using any chemicals . What I liked about it Works very well Convenient packaging Not expensive at all What could be made better- Since this is an Ayurvedic concoction, they use lots of herbs, the smell of which can be a put off for many. I don’t like it only for its smell, but given the fact that it makes your hair shiny, I would not mind bearing the smell for a while. So if you can bear with some unpleasant odour and the feel of thick oil on your hair, you can get perfect hair in some odd 100-130 Rs.
No harmful chemicals
Lightens dark circles and dark spots
No UV protection
Here is my review of another product that I happened to use sometime back. The Natural Glow Fairness Cream from Himalaya herbals is yet another good product by the brand. I am not a person who would believe in fairness cream and buy a product to get fair, however wanted a good face cream so gave it a try. Honestly, I don’t trust fairness creams and the claims they make. Indians are obsessed with fair skin and hence market is full of such products. Since Himalaya herbals products are natural, tested and reputed so I thought of trying this cream by them. The main ingredients of Himalaya Herbals Natural Glow Fairness Cream are: Alfalfa (Medicago sativa) is a good source of natural like Vitamins A, flavonoids, K and D & polyphenols. It also has calcium and phosphorus, iron, potassium and other essential enzymes. The cream has saffron as one of its ingredients and saffron has several proven benefits. The cream is suitable for all skin types, it is dermatologically tested, noncomedogenic and hypoallergenic. kin lightening formula. The cream may or may not whiten your skin, but it definitely takes care of blemishes and spots, making your skin tone even. For me it did help in getting rid of dark circles to some extent. A good affordable cream that works well. The cream however may not work for dry skin, I have combination skin so it was fine for me. Also I would have liked if it had some SPF content, that would have made it perfect for outdoors too. Like its tube type hassle free travel-friendly packaging, all in all a good buy, great product by Himalaya herbals.
Addictive floral-coffee scent
Overpowering sweet fragrance
When I bought this I thought it to be a better version of the old perfume that I loved. For those who like strong fragrances and can stand them, it may be a very nice buy. For me it was just too sweet and overwhelming. Also since I am sensitive to strong smells and anything too overpowering triggers my asthama this was not a great choice for me. The sweet pear and vanilla aroma with hint of chocolate and spice is nice, but too much to take for me. For colder countries and for winter it could be really nice for those who prefer strong fragrances, the fragrance of coffee and vanilla can make you feel warmer, cant they? The top notes last quite long, longer than many perfumes that I have tried. Other patchouli, cedar notes are slightly weaker and don’t last that long, but they do make it a nice long lasting perfume. I use milder perfumes, perhaps that’s why this one wasn’t for me, however for others this may be a great choice, with heads turning wherever they went. The perfume comes in a black colored textured bottle with silver shimmer; very similar to the Opium bottle, only with a change of color. Just two sprays can last for good 6 hours and much longer if you put on clothes. I actually loved the original Opium scent, it was milder, this one is too sweet and strong for my preference. This one is like forever on you, which may good for some and not good for others. This one is like too much of sweetness. Also this is an expensive buy, way too expensive. The key ingredients of the YSL Black Opium perfume are coffee beans, orange blossom, cedar jasmine, vanilla and patchouli. Top notes: Green tangerine, pear Middle notes: Jasmine tea petal, orange flower petal Base notes: Green coffee, white woody
Makes the skin glow
Packaging could be improved
My skin has never been great, it is prone to pimples. In winters it is extremely dry and flaky and in summers it is oily. I have a lot of spots and worst is post delivery a lot of pigmentation too. However with the use of this cream, it is better. After using it for 3-4 weeks it started showing results. The cream improved my skin tone, the spots lightened, the pigmentation is less visible now. I would recommend it to my friends. If you check the contents, it says that the cream contains Vitamins B3, Pro B5 & E that are really good for skin and help to even out the skin tone, lighten the spots and keep the skin hydrated. This cream comes in a white tub type container and screw lid. The texture of the cream is soft and light. Just a small amount spreads well through the face. The skin feels soft, supple and fresh when the cream is just applied. Its actually good for people who have skin like mine. Doesn’t feel too oily while it keeps the skin moisturised. After having used it for few months I can say that it worked pretty well for me. With this cream I don’t have to use a sunscreen as this one cream comes with SPF 24, which is perfect if one is heading out. Saves you money that you would otherwise spend on buying sunscreen. What I liked ? It is effective, worked well for me Has SPF 24, so you don’t need Sunscreen lotion. Lightens the spots and evens the skin tone What I disliked about it? I didn’t like the product packaging. The tub type packaging is unhygienic in my opinion. Price- It is slightly overpriced for its volume All in all a good product!
Reduces hair loss
Makes hair smoother and softer
Eliminates dandruff and other scalp infections
have been facing the issues of hair fall for quite sometime after I delivered my baby. It was then one of my friends recommended Indulekha to me, the product had helped her and so did help me as well. It worked like wonder on my hair. In less than 3 weeks, I started noticing changes in my hair quality and the hair fall reduced substantially. It is not just a regular hair oil, but is made with herbs that make it more like a medicine for your hair and scalp issues. It is made from natural herbal ingredients that target the roots and scalp. The oil will not have any side-effect unless you have some serious allergy to it's ingredients. It is certainly not a magic potion, so be patient and persistent. Indulekha oil has made my hair looks healthier and better. The oil is really good with slightly strong fragrance, I would however, definitely recommend it to all those facing hair fall problems. What I liked about the product? Effectiveness It worked well for me; my hair got its natural shine back. The hair fall rate reduced. Packaging The oil comes in an interesting bottle. The cap has a comb attached. I found its packaging quite impressive and convenient to use. The comb helps the oil reach the roots and scalp without having to waste the oil on the hair strands and later you can massage it more thoroughly all across. Fragrance Some may feel that the fragrance is pretty strong, but being from India and accustomed to strong spicy fragrances, I kind of like its fragrance. No Side effects Being Ayurvedic, it doesn’t have any side effects. What I didn’t like? Price I found the product slightly expensive as compared to many others. The oil is priced at 422 for 100ml of oil.
