Pretty handy

This eyebrow pencil is all that one needs to do the brows in a jiffy! It costs for around 500/- to 600/- Rs. for 3.2gm product. I buy it mostly from Amazon but it is also available on the NYX official website. It comes in a cardboard packaging with all the information and directions to use. Both the ends are provided with a clear plastic cap to keep the tips from catching any dust. This pencil is actually like a crayon lipstick. Both the tips are pretty tough and require a sharpener only once in a while. They have a waxy texture to keep the brows in place and glide smoothly over the brows and fill in efficiently. The brown shade is universal and suits almost all skin tones including Indian tones. (But not all) With minimal pressure it gives a light shade to the brows and with some heavy pressure, darker shade can be achieved. The other end has a pink toned highlighter. I use it under my brow arch and also on the inner corner of the eye, nose bridge and on the cheek bones. It gives a very subtle and yet flattering look to my overall face. If you're not much into brow makeup even then this pencil will be of your great help. I make the most of it by using it as an overall face highlighter, and the brown tip for my eyes. Use it as an eyeliner for a fine, smudge free liner or rub some on the eye lid for a smokey eye look. Experiment with this dual sided pencil and make the most of your bucks.

Pro's

2-in-1 product

Travel-friendly packaging

Sturdy pencil

Clear plastic cap prevents dust accumulation

Con's

Doesn't suit all akin tones

Doesn't come with a sharpener

Everyday bath soap

Sandalwood oil is known to have many medicinal and therapeutic properties. Hence in today's beauty industry, sandalwood oil is being used in many products. Mysore Sandal is an ancient Indian brand that uses 100% organic and natural ingredients, including pure essential oils. This Sandal Soap contains Vegetable oils, Glycerin and Pure Sandalwood oil that is distilled with skin care conditioners and moisturizers. Glycerin helps in locking the skin's moisture and keeps it hydrated. Sandalwood oil is an excellent source for glowing complexion. The soap comes in single bar packaging and also in a combo box of 3 bars. One can choose from the above two size options according to the budget. I use this as bath soap hence get the combo pack of 3(150gm each) which retails for 220/-INR but you can find it easily at local super markets at a much discounted price. Talking about the product, it is a very solid soap bar that lathers well. It has a very subtle sandalwood fragrance that lingers on for more than 4 hours after bath. It leaves my skin soft and also prevents blemishes upon regular use. I personally don't use it on my face as I'm not a fan of facial soaps. This soap is suitable for all skin types, but those who are intolerant to sandalwood oil (or Vicco Turmeric Cream), do a patch test before using it on entire face/body.

Pro's

All natural ingredients

Cleanses and moisturizes

Pleasant fragrance

Mild

Con's

None!!

Really works

This cream claims to clear darkcircles by 80% and reduce fine lines by 28% in just 4 weeks. Read on to know how it went for me. PACKAGING:- the packaging is nothing fancy. It comes in a plastic white tube with green screw on cap. The small nozzle squirts only a little amount whenever the tube is pressed. This ensures no product is wasted. The cream is light beige in color and has a thick creamy texture but doesn't feel heavy once it gets absorbed. It comes only in one size, 15ml tube for 165/- Rs. MY EXPERIENCE:- one might think that this eye cream is a herbal product by the brand, but its not 100% herbal as it also contains other ingredients like Mineral oil; Paraffin; Propylparaben; Methylparaben; and Alcohol. I used it regularly for 2 months on my dark circles and I could see a visible difference. They got a lot more lighter and my under eye area got very smooth. This tube contains a lot of product that is sufficient for at least 2 people to use regularly for 3 months. My cousin wears lenses and this cream suits her as well. It doesn't irritate her under eye area or cause any sort of redness or puffy eyes. OVERALL:- this eye cream is totally worth every penny if one is consistent in using it.

Pro's

Lightens dark circles

Does not irritate the sensitive eye area

Hydrates and nourishes the under-eye area

Evens out skin tone

Con's

Little bit pricey

Contains parabens

Has mineral oil & paraffin

Gives instant relaxation

The Body Shop Eye Mask is a gel-filled eye mask provided with a velcro closure at the back. The gel contains water, ethylene glycol, and hydroxyethylcellulose (which helps in retaining warmth or coolness)⁣ ⁣ HOW TO USE:-⁣ This eye mask has a dual purpose.⁣ It can be cooled in the fridge and worn to shrink eye bags or to reduce puffy eyes.⁣ Or keep it in a hot water bowl for few minutes and strap the mask onto your eyes to aid relaxation after staring at a digital screen for long hours. ⁣ ⁣ FINAL VERDICT:-⁣ One eye mask costs around 500-650/- Rs. on various online websites and lasts for several uses until torn or leaked.⁣ ⁣ It also comes in Aqua color from the same brand. And both masks fit perfectly well on all size heads.⁣ ⁣ As far as the price is concerned, this eye mask is pretty expensive as compared to the one from the Faces brand that costs only 90-100/- Rs. and works just exactly the same.

Pro's

Soothing and calming

Relaxes tired eyes

Can be used hot and cold

Lasts for several uses until torn or leaked

Budget friendly peel off mask

If you've tried the original "Wash off" Neem face pack from Himalaya Herbals, then you can imagine how good this peel off mask would be too! It is formulated with the combination of same ingredients, Neem and Turmeric, except this one also contains Xanthum gum. PACKAGING:- it comes in a sturdy white plastic tube with green flip cap. It comes in two size options: 50gm for 70/- Rs. and 100gm for 130/- Rs. MY EXPERIENCE:- this face pack has a gummy, gel like texture and smells like Neem. It is easy to apply and dries out within 15 minutes after which you can peel it off in one go. My skin becomes tighter, even toned and glowy post application. I would not recommend this to use frequently, as peel off masks make the face saggy in the long run and cause premature wrinkles. Use this peel off mask only once a month and use the wash off Neem mask every week. This way you'll get all the benefits of this wonder product without any premature aging :)

Pro's

Fights and prevents acne

Clears and lightens complexion

Comes off in one go

Pocket friendly

Con's

Might cause premature wrinkles if used frequently

Contains Alcohol & Permitted fragrance

Affordable option

Himalaya Refreshing And Clarifying Toner comes in a translucent aqua blue, plastic bottle, fitted with a green flip cap. This toner is clear and has watery consistency. The fragrance is kinda floral and lemony. It comes in two size options, 100 ml for Rs. 80/- and other in 200ml bottle. QUALITY:- this toner has Lemon and Mint as its key ingredients. Lemon deeply purifies the skin, reduces dark spots and lightens skin tone. While Mint soothes and provides hydration to the skin. This product is not 100% herbal, as it contains few chemicals too but definitely it is alcohol free. MY EXPERIENCE:- post application, I felt it tightened my pores, didn't sting even though I've oily and sensitive skin. This toner is mild, has soothing fragrance, removes dirt that is not washed off even with a cleanser. OVERALL:- can be used on dry skin too as it is alcohol free. Some oily skin people might experience oily T-zone after few minutes. Though this didn't happen anytime with me, if it does in your case then skip this toner.

Pro's

Alcohol-free

Unclogs and minimizes pores

Affordable

Con's

Product leaks even when the cap is shut

Shows results in 4 applications

Along with other two products of Anti hair fall range, I bought this Himalaya Herbals Anti Hair Fall Cream. PACKAGING:- it comes in a tub packaging which is not the most hygienic. The white tub has a green screw on cap. It has 175ml product that retails for 100/-Rs. QUALITY:- the texture is very creamy and thick. This ensures that all the goodness of Eclipta (Bhrigraj); Licorice; Chickpea and Amla stays on hair for long time. The fragrance is sweet and pretty strong that fades away after an hour of application. MY EXPERIENCE:- I use this cream once every two weeks. I massage a scoop of this cream gently on scalp and leave it overnight. The next morning I wash off with my regular shampoo. It leaves my hair so much softer and lot more manageable!! One can definitely see visible results in reduced hair fall after using it at least 4times a month.

Pro's

Doubles as leave-in-conditioner

Reduces hair fall

Improves hair texture

Suitable for all hair types

Con's

Very gentle

Himalaya Herbals Refreshing Cleansing Milk comes in a white plastic bottle with green flip cap. The pore provided on the cap dispenses small amount of product when intended to use. The 100ml bottle costs 80/- Rs. QUALITY:- it is formulated for all skin types. This cleansing milk has a runny consistency with creamy texture. The fragrance is more like herbal and milky. MY EXPERIENCE:- since I'm used to gel based cleansers, I didn't like the texture of this one as it doesn't lather much. It claims to remove light makeup which it does pretty well but not in removing eye makeup. I use it as a day time cleanser. It removes all the oily shine from my face, soothes skin and leaves it soft and health looking. FINAL WORD:- when nothing works for your ultra sensitive or acne and pimple prone skin, go buy this mild milk cleanser.

Pro's

Suitable for all skin types

Creamy texture

Light on budget

Doesn't irritate skin

Good option for sensitive & acne prone skin

Con's

Milky fragrance which not everybody will like

Doesn't lather much

Worst of Himalaya Herbals

I've never been as much disappointed by any Himalaya Herbals product as this anti hair fall shampoo. It claims to reduce hair fall and provide nourishment to hair but in reality, it does neither of the two. It comes in two size variants, regular 100ml bottle & 200ml pump dispenser bottle. I got myself the 100ml one for 70/- Rs. PACKAGING:- the plastic white bottle has a green flip cap that fits securely. The shampoo is milky white and has runny consistency. It has mild floral fragrance. MY EXPERIENCE:- just in first two washes, it caused me more hair fall and literally infested my hair with head lice!! Moreover, it is not for dry hair, this shampoo makes it more frizzy instead. I've always been a fan of their products, but this shampoo didn't work for me and any of my family members. FINAL VERDICT:- doesn't stand upto its claims. I will never buy this variant from Himalaya Herbals neither recommend to any one.

Pro's

Pleasant fragrance

Paraben & Sulphate free

Con's

Cause frizz

Induces more hair fall

Might infest hair with head lice

Really reduces hair fall

This oil proves to be really beneficial for those suffering from sever hair fall. PACKAGING:- the bottle is clear plastic with green flip cap. It comes in a simple, white cardboard box with pink accents. It retails Rs. 100 for 100 ml. QUALITY:- the oil claims to be non-sticky that can be applied daily, but it leaves my hair greasy every time hence I wash it out the next day. It is hypoallergenic and contains purely herbal ingredients like Amla, Neem, Methi etc. All these help in prevention of fungal scalp infections, nourish hair follicles, stimulate hair growth, prevent hair fall and thereby promote healthy hair. The oil has strong fenugreek (Methi) smell which everybody might not like it but overall this oil is very good. It does what it claims, though the results are slow. I will definitely repurchase this wonder oil!.

Pro's

Reduces dandruff

Stimulates hair growth

Contains natural ingredients

Prevents fungal diseases

Very affordable

Con's

Strong fragrance

Greasy, hence need to be washed off the next day.
