Makes hair dry

This shampoo did not work well on my dry frizzy wavy hair. It made the situation worse, made my hair super dry. I didn't use conditioner as recommended for my first use and it made my hair super dry. On my second use I followed up with a conditioner but then also it made my hair dry. I didn't use this product after the two trials and it was a complete wastage of money for me.

Best budget sunscreen for oily skin

This is the best drugstore sunscreen available in the market for oily acne prone skin people. It works really great as a sunscreen and helps from getting tanned. It is fast-absorbing, gives a matte finish and even though the product has a heavy gel-like texture, it doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Even though there are better sunscreens available in the market, but I feel this is the best, in the given price range.

Pro's

Non-greasy

Matte finish

Quickly absorbed

No white cast

Controls oil secretion

Con's

Not for dry skin

Not for oily skin

I actually didn't buy this product. My mom swears by this product and it really works great for her normal skin type. I thought of giving it a try and that was a mistake. It didn't suit my oily skin and there was an epidemic of acne break out on my skin. However, I gave it a few more tries just to confirm but my acne was healed after stopping using the product. Sadly, even though it is a good product it didn't go well on my oily skin.

It feels like astringent

The first turn off of this product is the absence of its ingredient list. recently I got to know the importance of knowing the products that are used for the skin. The second problem of this product is a strong astringent like smell. This totally negates the point of the product is herbal. thirdly, it did not show any positive results on my oily skin. This toner has two positive sides; (1) removes excess dirt and grime which is present even after washing the face. (2) Its budget-friendly.

Pro's

Removes makeup residue and dirt

Lightweight and hydrating

Con's

Harsh

A little harsh on the skin

Recently I got to know that mechanical exfoliation of the skin using a scrub can cause harm by creating micro-tears on the skin. I feel this scrub is a little harsh on the skin in that respect. It, however, does give a fresh glow to the skin after use but the effect is not long-lasting. The quantity of the product is also very less and the main con of this product is the incomplete ingredient list. So I have doubts in believing that this is a completely herbal product.

Pro's

Removes dead skin and blackheads

Brightens skin

Antiseptic without drying skin

It works great as an antiseptic soap without drying out the skin too much. Even though I have never used it on my face, it works great on body acne. It even helped me from some random skin infection once. It works great as an everyday soap, gives a fresh feeling with a nice smell that stays for a decent amount of time. Cost-effective. However, using it during winter can be challenging since it can make skin dry. Also, very dry skin people should try out on hands before using it on the entire body.

Gives a matte finish to oily skin

This product is something that has been used by almost all people who have had acne issues during their lifetime. Calamine is a great ingredient in calming skin and keeping skin problems at bay. This product does a great job of treating and calming acne-prone skin. This is not exactly a moisturizer, it just gives a matte finish to the skin, It does a good job in reducing oil production by the skin, however, my super oily skin does feel oily after some time of application. I feel that this product should be used along with a sunscreen, but due to its thick texture, it is very difficult to layer with other products.

Pro's

Absorbs excess oil

Retains natural moisture

Gives matte finish

Controls acne and pimples

Con's

Strong fragrance

Can leave a whitish cast behind

Calming moisturizer for acne prone skin

I used this product as a part of the Innisfree big trouble kit which comes along with the face wash and toner. Initially, the kit caused me a few outbreaks of acne, but very quickly it calmed down my skin. I feel that the outbreak caused due to the fact that it was trying to remove the impurities inside my skin. The moisturizer is very lightweight and gets absorbed very quickly, without clogging pores of my oily skin. It has a very calming nature which prevents acne outbreaks.

Pro's

Prevents pimples

Thin texture

Lightweight

Non-sticky

Easy to carry

Great product for people on budget

This product has been with me for the longest time possible. I have come back to this product again and again even after spending fortunes on high-end products. This is great for people with acne-prone skin, on a budget. This works great on acne scars and uneven skin tone. The only problem with this product which restricts me from using the product all the time is the chemically smell and the thick white-cast kind of a thing it leaves on the skin. I find it very difficult to apply the product evenly on my skin and also I feel this cream should be used only at night time.

Pro's

Cost-effective

Convenient packaging

Con's

Unsuitable for daytime use

Strong turmeric smell

Great for oily acne prone skin

My oily skin loves this product. It has a very smooth lightweight texture. It doesn't feel heavy on the skin and doesn't clog pores. The product gets quickly absorbed by the skin. The skin feels moisturized without feeling oily, however, my extremely oily skins starts producing oil after some time. It is ideal for use both in the daytime as well as in the nighttime. It has somewhat evened out my acne scars and pits making my skin smooth and great to touch (to an extent). The only con of this product, I feel is the pricing. It costs more than a 1400 rupees (even after discount) for just 40ml of product.
