Clinique Exfoliating Scrub Reviews

Helps in unclogging the pores
I keep switching my regular facial scrubs very often and as soon as I got my hands on this Clinique Exfoliating Scrub, I had to try it out! It comes in a simple tube packaging housed in a cardboard box. The exfoliating particles are minute and very gentle. It helps in unclogging the pores and provides super smooth skin post-wash.

Worst product
This scrub is too expensive and it does not suit my oily skin. It costs around 1850 INR for just a 100 ml tube! This product claims that it is capable of deep cleansing and leaves your skin refreshed. But to be honest this is nothing new. Almost every scrub makes skin soft and smooth for the time being. And so this scrub too. It does not clear blackheads at all which are more annoying than whiteheads. And if you have oily skin, then instead of feeling refreshed, it will make your skin oilier. This is the worst part of this cream. According to me, this product is a clear waste of money. One can have a better option rather than having this expensive and waste exfoliating scrub.

Expensive but worth it
The current market has a variety of scrubs available which range from tan removal to pore cleaning with ingredients like coffee to aloe or hazelnut seed extract. So post my delivery, I received a gift from a friend where she gave me some skincare products to try as she knew that post-pregnancy ladies struggle with skin and hair issues. So I tried the scrub and to be honest, the scrub has been extremely good for me. The first reason being it is a water-based scrub and that is perfect for someone like me who has oily skin prone to product reactions. Secondly, the product actually worked on my pores and reduced their visibility. Then, it controlled my breakouts and has been gentle to my skin thereby giving a faint glow to my face. To boost the standard of the product further, the product is paraben & phthalate free which is a big win. Though the concern with the product is the quantity. It is less for the price we are paying. If the quantity would have been more, like, 200 ml then the cost would not have felt to be on the higher side. Rest I strongly recommend the product for people with oily skin prone to acne.
