Easy on the pocket
Texture is runny
Does not control the oil
I never really had a problem with my hair until recently when my scalp started itching and getting oily very soon. I thought maybe it’s the water problem. But the moment I changed my shampoo to Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Soothing Shampoo, my problem was resolved.
This shampoo has visibly reduced itching and controlled my oiliness up to some level. Since I have very oily hair, I have to wash my hair every day otherwise, it gets greasy and dull and spoils my entire day.
I don’t have a severe dandruff condition so whatever bit I had disappeared within three weeks’ time. The smell is mild, so it doesn’t bother me, and the consistency is a bit runny. I wish the texture could be creamy because sometimes I tend to spill it off my palm while applying on the scalp.
Other than that, I am satisfied with this shampoo as it has worked the way I want it to.

Trusted brand product
Does not control dandruff
Does not control scalp irritation
Not a long run solution
Himalaya Herbals has been known to me for a long time, and I have also heard that it has a wide market abroad too. So, looking at that standard, I had a positive expectation from it.
But truth be told, I am so disappointed. After a month of use now, my dandruff problem is nowhere close to getting better. Only when I wash my hair, that day, my dandruff will be less visible. After the first day of wash, dandruff comes back again. The itchiness and the oiliness return as well.
I don't think this shampoo is effective in reducing dandruff while claiming to do so. That way, I am not happy with it.

Cleanses hair well
Mild on the hair
Does not control oil
Does not fulfill any of its claims
Not effective in eradicating dandruff
Himalaya Herbals Anti-Dandruff Soothing Shampoo claims were so attractive, I had to try it, and so I did. I am reviewing this shampoo after a month’s use and a month is a pretty long time to show results.
But unfortunately, I don’t see difference in my dandruff or the texture of my hair. I think this is the problem with every big company – they say this and that only to fool us again and again. So sad to think about it, but that’s the ugly truth. If this Himalaya Herbals shampoo claims just to clean your scalp well, I would have rated it five on five because it does a good job at it. But since it set its claim so high, to reach the rating will nowhere be close to five.
I must say that it is a very mild shampoo with a pleasing smell and overall, it is just an ordinary shampoo that gives good cleansing. Doing nothing in eradicating dandruff problem.
