Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash is a soap-free, gel-based formula. It cleans impurities from the skin and cures pimples and prevents their recurrence. The combination of turmeric and neem works like magic and benefits your skin. It comes in different sizes. The smaller and medium sizes are in the tube form. The tube has an open flip cap that is securely sealed while not in use. This makes it travel-friendly. The larger ones are available in pump and squeeze bottles.

The tube packaging looks cheap.
Over the years, I have tried so many face washes for my oily skin and pimples, but at the end when the bottle or the tube is about to get over, I always feel like changing it. Sometimes I don’t even finish the face wash. I have never come across any face wash I fell in love with.
But one day, as I was looking for another face wash, I happened to stand in front of the Himalaya Herbals products section. I selected Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash. This gel-based face wash is what I was longing for. It controls my oiliness and gives me a fresh look. And after every wash, I feel refreshed and so satisfied.
I use other products for my pimples so I can’t entirely give the improvement credit to just this face wash, but I will say that it is encouraging it. And that is enough. Finally, I, after such a long search have found my soulmate!

Refreshes the skin
No visible effects
I am using this face wash for a while now, say maybe a month. I will state that it hasn’t shown any visible effects yet. It’s a decent face wash, but I’m not sure about its effective claims. What I do know is I’m enjoying the foam-based face wash. It feels so tender to use, and I like the feel of using a high-end product. Definitely, a thumbs up for it.

Not for dry skin
The price is reasonable, for sure, and it’s herbal. But the dryness is a minus point. Forget about the dryness, after using this product, I started getting small red spots around my jawline. It is weird and unbelievable. I never expected a herbal product to do this to my skin. I have stopped using it immediately, and now I am never going back to this particular product again. I use Himalaya Herbals Anti Dandruff Shampoo and that works perfectly fine for me. I think the reaction happened with some ingredient. I know for sure that it is not Neem or Turmeric.
Key ingredients are neem and turmeric.
Neem: It is an active skin care ingredient popularly known for its antibacterial properties. Neem oil and neem leaves have excellent properties that relieve dry skin and soothe itchiness, redness, and irritation. It improves general skin health and immunity, combating bacterial infections such as acne, boils, and ulcers. Neem fights bacteria from the roots and prevents the recurrence of pimples and blemishes.
Turmeric: It has been used as an antiseptic for centuries, and it is regarded as one of nature's most powerful healers. The herb helps to even out your skin tone, making it an excellent ingredient in a face wash. It also helps to retain the skin's elasticity. Turmeric has strong anti-inflammatory properties, which soothe your skin and prevent any skin irritation and breakouts.
No. Those having dry skin should use it just once a day or not at all. After every use, Himalaya Herbals Purifying Neem Face Wash makes the skin dry and flaky. So immediately moisturize your face if you still want to use this face wash. Otherwise, go for Himalaya Herbals Moisturizing Aloe Vera Face Wash with Cucumber. It will prevent your skin from drying.
