Does not look chalky
It was my mom who left her Lakme Rose Powder in my apartment when she came to visit me for a few days. She forgot to take it with her obviously. But her silliness turned out to be my benefit once I started using it.
Lakme Rose Powder has become one of my favorite baking powders. I used it once, and I liked it. Fast forward three months, I’m still using it and still loving it. All thanks to mom!
It doesn’t matter which shade I use, Warm Pink or Soft Pink, it does the job well. Because I have very oily skin, I always need to set the foundation. So this is my go-to face powder and I love it. I have used other loose powders from high-end brands, but now I can’t look at anything else except this because of its effectivity and affordability.
The powder has very finely crushed particles and it feels really smooth and light on the skin. As one of the Lakme Classics, it is affordable, consistent, and trustworthy.
After I bake my foundation and contouring with this powder, I usually leave it on for about ten minutes. The powder seeps in and adapts really well to my skin, and it is not messy when brushing it off. The pinkish tint really accentuates the base, and it doesn’t look chalky at all. I would recommend this powder to anyone who’s looking for a good baking powder.

I like Lakme Rose Powder because it makes my makeup stay longer by at least 4 hours or so. I always have it in my bag because I prefer this over compact powders for a quick fix when I go out. The only thing I dislike about it is the packaging. The cap of the powder is tight, but I have a bit of a problem with the design on the inside. The five small circular holes in the transparent divide between the powder and the puff are inconvenient. When I carry it around in my bag, the tub obviously topples and doesn’t always stay upright. So when I open it again the next time, lots of powder from the base of the container comes through to the surface. It taints the whole puff, so it’s unusable, and that’s why I use a separate powder brush.

Works well as a setting powder
May cause breakouts
Lakme Rose Powder is something I like to keep around, but not to use it on a daily basis. I like its mild coverage and smooth finish. I like to use it as a finishing touch on days when I wear heavy makeup. It does the job well. However, although I’m not sure, I think this powder has something to do with my occasional breakouts. I’m only suspecting it. I’m not sure yet. Overall, it is an alright product.

Works as a blush
I’m quite surprised by this powder because I initially had very low expectations. I have pale skin so I was worried that it’d look too pinkish on my skin. But I’ve decided to use it as a blush, so it works well for me. I love the texture and how lightweight it feels. I’m not a fan of the packaging because the puff is pretty much useless.
