This shampoo claims to have a long-lasting fresh effect on hair but that's not true. If you are sweating, your scalp will get oily despite the quality of shampoo last used. But it has to be admitted that clay as its key ingredient is best suited for oily scalp. It makes scalp drier so people with dry-fizzy hair should not use it at any cost. Use loreal clay rebalancing conditioner post hair-cleansing with clay shampoo. This ensures soft and lusturous hair. For best results, use pre-shampoo loreal extraordinary clay mask to rejuvenate instead of oiling. This shampoo claims to be sulphate free and hence can be used frequently.

My favourite shampoo! Works well on me.

Shampooing is my favorite pass time and I don’t want to miss trying different shampoos on my hair. Basically, I use raw eggs to clean my hair and thereafter shampoo to get rid of egg smell and make my mane shiny and bouncy. I had been watching the ads of newly launched, L’Oreal Paris extraordinary clay purifying hydrating shampoo. In my next visit to the departmental shop, I bought one for myself. The brand claims that it has clay in the shampoo, a natural cleanser who will take care of our hair sincerely. I tried and tested, the first day, I liked the effect of the shampoo on my hair but next day, I found my hairs not as fluffy as the first day of shampooing. I am the one who loves to flaunt my silky lustrous hair. I repeated once more and my hair shine and volume revived…but next day, again, it appeared bit oiled. I asked my younger sis to try who shampoo once in a week, she is just of reverse of mine. Her hair is dry so she felt the smoothness in her hair after the wash and set her hair. I handed over the shampoo to her because it was suitable for her. : L’Oreal Paris extraordinary clay purifying hydrating shampoo comes in a pretty light turquoise blue colored plastic bottle with a flip open top. It is good to carry on tours, no fear of spilling. The price is pocket-friendly and one dollop is enough for medium hair length. The hue of the shampoo is shiny cream and has a thin consistency. Wet your hairs before using shampoo. It washes and cleanses thoroughly removing dirt and grime. It is hydrating for dry hairs and takes care of split ends. I have stopped using for my hairs but my sis is happy and continuing with it. My verdict: L’Oreal Paris extraordinary clay purifying hydrating shampoo is enriching for the people with dry hair. It gives a shape to dry mane.

I liked it, really efficient shampoo to clean oil

I have a normal scalp with a ways texture of hair. During summers I sweat a lot because of which my scalp becomes super itchy and prone to untidy looks. As I am a working person, I can’t devote time to go to a salon for hair care neither can I leave them un-tidy. That is why I yearn for a shampoo which is effective to clean the oil from the scalp. On a friend’s recommendation, I gave a try to L’Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Purifying & Hydrating Shampoo. I usually oil my hair twice a week and leave the oil overnight for deep conditioning.

I preferably wash them the next morning. When I opened the pack the fragrance attracted me. The texture was smooth and easy to use. I always mix a little quantity of shampoo with water making a shampoo solution and apply this on my scalp. The lather was just sufficient to cover my hair. After a few minutes of massaging, I wash my hair with water. It washes off easily with no remnant. No need to reapply the shampoo even after heavy oiling in hair. It cleaned the scalp completely.

The hair is completely oil free and fresh. I found it absolutely safe and effective. The fragrance stays for a long period and it is so attractive. It is better to use in moderation if you have dry hair as this product is specially designed for oily to normal hair. It may make your scalp drier if you already have a dry scalp. So, use accordingly. The hair stays free of grease and oil for more than 3 days. If you want a real shiny hair then I will suggest you use conditioner after every wash with shampoo. Your hair will become shiny, fresh and manageable completely.

Finally found the best shampoo!!

PROS

Mild fragrance

Controls oil effectively

Hydrates and nourishes the scalp

Makes your hair smooth

CONS

None

The most important thing about my beauty regimen is my hair. It is as though my entire look is defined by it. I have mid-long straight hair with a very oily scalp and dry ends. I have to wash my hair every day to maintain a fresh look, otherwise dullness followed by a headache takes over the day.

Although I am told a hundred times to stop washing my hair every day, I have no choice because my scalp is terribly oily. So, when I heard about this shampoo, I was keen on trying it and see how it works for my oiliness.

As I opened the flip cap, I sniffed it and found it had a mild fragrance. The texture looks pearly which has soft glitter. I instantly liked it. I washed my hair with lukewarm water as usual. While massaging my scalp, I felt a cooling sensation, and I liked that as well.

I continued using it every day like how I used to, but after a week or so, I started noticing a change in the greasiness. Now, I do not have to wash my hair every day. I do wash it every alternate day, but at least not every day.

All the beauties with oily scalp should try this and see how it works.

Adds a bouncy look!

PROS

Mild fragrance

Deeply cleanses the oil

Hair feels fresh even after two days

Makes hair healthy

CONS

Not ideal for dry hair

I have oily hair, which makes it very hard to manage. After two days of shampooing, it gets oily again. So when I got my hand on L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Purifying & Hydrating Shampoo, I was skeptical.

Now, it has been a month since I started using it, and I love it. Of course, my hair hasn’t magically transformed into ‘no-problem’ hair but it definitely feels relaxed, and the cooling sensation this shampoo gives is the best part of it.

My hair looks shinier than before and even after two days of shampooing, my hair still survives the harmful pollution and the heat and remains soft and shiny.

A point to be noted: this shampoo will not be suitable for dry scalp as the nourishment it provides will not be enough.

Good, but left a tingly feeling

Mild fragrance

CONS

Fragrance washes off easily

I feel like this product is overhyped. With so many expectations I purchased it. But after a week's use, I think it’s just like any other shampoo. I didn’t notice any extraordinary difference. Like any other shampoo, it cleanses the scalp, smoothens the hair, makes it shiny, controls oil like any other.

Hair remains clean and fresh

PROS

Pocket-friendly

Fresh fragrance

Makes your hair smooth

Goodness of clay

CONS

Not ideal for winter because of its cooling effect

After using this shampoo, I don’t think I’m going to switch to any other shampoo just yet. I don’t have so much problem with oiliness so I can’t say much on that area. But I will say that my hair never felt so soft. I think the infused clay is doing the trick very well. This is an ideal shampoo for summers. I will not use it during winters because of its cooling effect. It will be as though my scalp is in the freezer or something. But definitely a yes for the hot scorching season.
