The most important thing about my beauty regimen is my hair. It is as though my entire look is defined by it. I have mid-long straight hair with a very oily scalp and dry ends. I have to wash my hair every day to maintain a fresh look, otherwise dullness followed by a headache takes over the day.
Although I am told a hundred times to stop washing my hair every day, I have no choice because my scalp is terribly oily. So, when I heard about this shampoo, I was keen on trying it and see how it works for my oiliness.
As I opened the flip cap, I sniffed it and found it had a mild fragrance. The texture looks pearly which has soft glitter. I instantly liked it. I washed my hair with lukewarm water as usual. While massaging my scalp, I felt a cooling sensation, and I liked that as well.
I continued using it every day like how I used to, but after a week or so, I started noticing a change in the greasiness. Now, I do not have to wash my hair every day. I do wash it every alternate day, but at least not every day.
All the beauties with oily scalp should try this and see how it works.

Deeply cleanses the oil
Hair feels fresh even after two days
Makes hair healthy
Not ideal for dry hair
I have oily hair, which makes it very hard to manage. After two days of shampooing, it gets oily again. So when I got my hand on L'Oreal Paris Extraordinary Clay Purifying & Hydrating Shampoo, I was skeptical.
Now, it has been a month since I started using it, and I love it. Of course, my hair hasn’t magically transformed into ‘no-problem’ hair but it definitely feels relaxed, and the cooling sensation this shampoo gives is the best part of it.
My hair looks shinier than before and even after two days of shampooing, my hair still survives the harmful pollution and the heat and remains soft and shiny.
A point to be noted: this shampoo will not be suitable for dry scalp as the nourishment it provides will not be enough.

Makes hair shiny
Cleanses hair effectively
Fragrance washes off easily
I feel like this product is overhyped. With so many expectations I purchased it. But after a week's use, I think it’s just like any other shampoo. I didn’t notice any extraordinary difference. Like any other shampoo, it cleanses the scalp, smoothens the hair, makes it shiny, controls oil like any other.

Goodness of clay
Not ideal for winter because of its cooling effect
After using this shampoo, I don’t think I’m going to switch to any other shampoo just yet. I don’t have so much problem with oiliness so I can’t say much on that area. But I will say that my hair never felt so soft. I think the infused clay is doing the trick very well. This is an ideal shampoo for summers. I will not use it during winters because of its cooling effect. It will be as though my scalp is in the freezer or something. But definitely a yes for the hot scorching season.
