I have dry skin, so I was pretty sure it won’t work. Most of the sunscreens I have used are all either too greasy or too dry.
This L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Super Aqua Essence SPF 50 though, is on the top list of my most favorite skin care products. I use it every day 10-15 minutes before heading out. The packaging is very apt. It comes with a long nozzle which makes the dispensing very easy. The size is also convenient if it is for traveling purpose but for everyday use, it comes in very small quantity. I think it will last just for a month or so.
I love to apply it on my face because it blends easily and gets absorbed in a blink. I am sorted for the day. Sometimes, I apply it over my foundation, and it works just as well as it alone. Not so much as a primer, but decently.
It is not waterproof or water resistant, but even when I sweat, I don’t feel like it is washed off. So that’s a good sign. But, when I look at how it is formulated, I see lots of alcohol. I am not an ingredient guru, so I can’t really say how negative it is. I just hope that it will not give me a long-term problem. Otherwise, for four months of use, it hasn’t reacted negatively on my skin.

Does not cause breakouts
Works only for 2-3 hours
False claims of 12 hours effect
My skin type is very oily! Thinking it is a gel sunscreen I got this L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Super Aqua Essence SPF 50. But alas! It was not. Even though I was a little disappointed regarding it, once I started using this sunscreen, I started liking it. The sunscreen does not settle into a completely matte finish. Rather, it retains its sheen texture. Even so, I don’t see my face getting oily for about 2 to 3 hours, after which the oiliness is back to the normal state. While it claims to stay active for 12 hours, I find this claim to be not true. All I can say is, it is not the ultimate sunscreen, but a decent average one.

Glides on easily
Does not feel stretchy
Does not dry out the skin
The runny lotion-like texture is what I like as it doesn't dry me out at all. It does not make me feel stretchy either. During winters, though, I think I’ll need another moisturizer because its nourishment won’t be enough for my super dry skin. But for summer season, it is the best! Also, it is quite expensive for the quantity it comes in.

Effective for good duration

My skin is very oily, so I always get confused as to which one to go for. Because most of the sunscreens I have used make my skin very oily. When I first used this L'Oreal Paris UV Perfect Super Aqua Essence SPF 50, I was satisfied with the way it nourished my skin without making it oily and greasy. Now it has been three years with this product! I highly recommend this product.
