Since I switched to this professional shampoo, I haven’t looked back. Though the price is on the higher side, I think it’s completely worth it. I started using L'Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo a year ago. I got to know about it from the ever beautiful Aishwarya Rai (through ads, if you're wondering how!).

So, here was the condition of my hair- due to straightening and then curling and then straightening again, my hair seemed to have lost all its moisture and quality. My scalp started breaking down, and it became very dry. It was screaming for help. Since this shampoo is for dry scalp and damaged hair, I thought of giving it a shot.

I use this shampoo every alternate day along with the masque. Over the weekend, I oil my hair with coconut oil. And when I oil my hair, I need to wash it twice to get rid of the grease. I like my shampoo when it forms a good lather, and this shampoo does just that. It also smells amazing. It has the fragrance of flowers, which is fresh and appealing. The fragrance lasts until my next wash.

Like I mentioned before, it’s been almost a year since I started using this shampoo. So, with my constant care, I have been benefiting from it a lot. My straw-like hair has become much softer and looks healthier. There is no improvement with my split ends, but those can only be removed with trimming I guess. Other than that, I don’t have any complaints. I think this shampoo is one of the best out there because it stays true to its claim. My hair feels much softer and nourished.

Average product

Attractive packaging

Cleanses scalp and hair well

Strong fragrance

I will say that L'Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo is just an average shampoo with the perfect brand tag and pricey price tag. I didn’t like its smell as I found it a bit too strong.

My hair has a few problems, and this product claims to repair damage in just a few uses. So, I was paying close attention to the changes. I didn’t see much of a difference. Any other shampoo can give the same results as this one.

Perfect for damaged hair

Reduces frizz

Improves hair texture

Pleasant fragrance

Maintains the health of your hair

Revives dry and dull hair

Only available online and in salons

I always had bad hair days because my hair was dry and frizzy. To solve that problem, I had my hair smoothened. My hair did become smooth, and it looks nice, but I’m dreading how it will look after the smoothening wears off. So I started using L'Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo eight months back as recommended by my hair stylist. I use it daily with the conditioner and the serum. The results I see are overwhelming. I think somehow it is sustaining my smoothening and I am so glad.

I see myself sticking to L'Oreal Professionnel Absolut Repair Lipidium Shampoo for a really long time. It’s the perfect shampoo for damaged hair.

Smoothens and softens your hair

Adds luster and shine

Makes scalp greasy

Does not form enough lather

This shampoo makes my hair feel smooth and soft, but by the end of the day, my scalp turns greasy. I don’t think it is for people with oily scalp as it is very rich in moisture. I also feel like I have to use more of the shampoo as compared to other shampoos because the lather it forms is not satisfying.
