I have always liked Lotus products as they are completely herbal and pocket-friendly. The brand has some amazing products, which do their job wonderfully without forcing you to spend a ton of money. For reasons like this, I bought the Lotus Make-up Pure Colors Matte Lip Color without a second thought.
It is a tiny little lipstick available in convenient packaging in some amazing colors. The ones I bought are Melon Flirt and Nude Shine. The quantity for this price range is pretty decent. I use Nude Shine more frequently than the other. I wear it to work, and it goes very well with my formal outfits.
The colors are highly pigmented, just one stroke is enough. The shea butter, jojoba and vitamin E keep my lips moisturized for as long as the lipstick is on and there is no drying and chapping.
Although these lipsticks are great for everyday wear and are very affordable, these do not last long on your lips. The creamy formula does not dry and stains everything your lips get in touch with (cups, tissues, hands, straws). And once you have your supper, the lipstick wears off. There is no way you can stay without reapplying.
All in all, it’s a fine product for the price it comes at, and if you do not mind re-touching, you should definitely try some of these shades.

Nice shade range
Doubles up as a lip balm
Color fades after eating
I bought the Pink Affair shade of the Lotus Make-up Pure Colors Matte Lip Color. It is the second lipstick in my collection, as I am just getting started with wearing lip colors. I bought this product because it falls in my budget and they have a wide shade range.
I like how this lipstick is not truly matte, it has a little satin finish to it. And it keeps my lips moisturized the entire day. It lasts on my lips for about 3 to 4 hours and leaves a pink tint when it starts disappearing. The color compliments my skin tone and goes well with most of my attires. I am happy with the product and might buy another one soon.

I bought two shades of this lipstick on a friend’s recommendation - 616 Coral Rose and 669 Choco Chip. One of these I gave away to my sister, and one I used for a few days, and now, I don’t use it at all.
Although this lipstick is not highly priced, it’s not worth the money. First off, it’s not matte. I only use matte lipsticks, and this one is not anywhere close to matte. It’s so sticky and creamy, it gets smudged on everything that gets close to my lips. And within an hour, it’s gone. I tried reapplying it few times a day, but it’s not practically possible all the time.

Great shade range
Highlights the dryness of lips
Accentuates the lines and patches
Every time I want to use this Lotus Make-up Pure Colors Matte Lip Color, there is a whole procedure I have to follow. Exfoliate my lips, moisturize them, and then this gets on. And because this lipstick’s base is a balm, its stay power reduces by 50 times. For those who have hydrated lips, you all can give this a try. It’s certainly not for me.
