PROS

Light weight packaging Attacks acne and prevents further breakouts

Hydrates the skin effectively

It is non-drying acne-fighting moisturizer. The brand claims that it hydrates and softens the skin by combating pimples and further preventing future breakouts. Due to the presence of Salicyclic Acid, it exfoliates the skin pretty well and fights acne. It comes in a sleek bottle packaging of 118ml which retails for $6.52. The bottle has a pump dispenser attached which dispenses the product without making any wastage. Now if I ta about its colour, texture and fragrance, then at first you may find it very rich in its consistency. But it turns to be light and liquid-y which gets easily spread and absorbed by the skin. The texture is smooth and lightweight and gives a dewy look. The fragrance smells like a grapefruit with a zesty touch to it. It does not feel very oily or sticky to the skin and can be applied twice a time daily. It has a water-based formula hence it does not clog the pores, thereby reducing the chances of acne breakout. As the name suggests, this moisturizer is best suited for the acne-prone skin and can be used during the hot and humid weather too. It is a lightweight and an oil-free moisturizer

PROS

My colleague was suffering from an acne prone skin and this impacted her morale to a great extent. She read alot of reviews on the internet and finally decided to try the Neutrogena oil free acne facial moisturizer. This comes packaged in a white colour bottle with flip open cap and is travel friendly. She washed her face with a mild cleanser and then took a small amount of the moisturizer on the palm of hands and gently massaged the moisturizer all over the face till it got completely absorbed. The moisturizer is creamy in texture and is lightweight and does not feel heavy on the face. The product claims to contain Salicylic Acid which is known to curb the formation of new acne and pimples and unclogs the pores. She found her skin feeling more moisturized and hydrated and everytime she went out in the Sun she felt a tingling sensation on her face. She saw great improvement in the reduction of acne and her skin looked more clearer and hydrated. She would surely recommend this product to all.

Neutrogena has quite a load of products meant for acne skin .having used Neutrogena before i must say it is quite a good brand with its quality products. I do not have acne-prone skin but my cousin had been using this for a while and few other products too. This Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Facial Moisturizer With Salicylic Acid is infused with pink grapefruit extract and it does have that citrusy smell to it. This moisturizer is basically formulated for acne-prone skin and it has salicylic acid which helps to control acne and prevent acne too. the packaging is quite simple and it comes with a pump dispenser which makes it easier to dispense the product. You need a pea size product for the face and one bottle would definitely last long. my cousin's battle lasted for more than two months she used it continuously during morning time .it spreads evenly om the skin and absorbs fast into the skin.it does not make the skin greasy at all. Although a bit pricey it is easily available. It is totally lightweight on the skin and my cousin mentioned when she was using this, she did not have more acne coming up like it prevented the new ones. It helped reduce the irritation and redness too.it worked fine for her
