Who does not like a flawless base?? I think every body does!! Nyx Honey Dew Me Up Primer does exactly that. This is a dual product and can be used as a primer or serum. It neutralizes redness and discoloration. It has honey, collagen, hyaluronic acid..all things great for intense hydration and to give you a soft dewy look. The primer is gel based and blurs out pores to give you a smooth canvas for makeup application. It is infused with light reflective gold flecks to give you a glowing, illuminated look. Your skin will look radiant all day. It smells amazing, has a citrusy lemony kind of fragrance. You do not need to use a lot of product, little goes a long way. You can use it under your moisturizer or foundation. Works well for all skin types. Be mindful while using the primer as it can get sticky if you take a lot of product. The right amount will make your makeup look flawless. I am not a big fan of the packaging though. It does look luxurious with the gold cap and flecks in it and it is a clear bottle so you can see the product clearly. However, the cap has a stick applicator attached to it. I would have preferred a pump type cap as it is hygienic and you get less product out. The good thing is the primer is not runny and has a thick consistency so it does not create a mess while applying. Talking about the price point, I think it is slightly heavy on the pocket. It does not brighten the skin like it claims but gives you a dewy finish. Whenever applying this primer, let it sit on your face for 5 minutes and then start with your makeup routine for a dewy supple skin!!

PROS

Attractive packaging

CONS

Expensive

Does not cover up imperfections

Does not give a glow to skin

Makes oily skin greasier

Application of primer is the basic step in makeup. Primer makes the skin feel fresh and ready for any type of makeup. One should be careful in choosing the right primer. The packaging of NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer looks luxurious and attractive as it comes in a transparent glass bottle with a golden cap which is of a screw type. A stick type applicator is attached with the cap which helps in taking the product. The applicator does not take the product properly as the primer is runny and I feel it as useless. NYX should work on changing the packaging to a pump type. It is travel friendly but one should be cautious about the glass packaging. The price is expensive. NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer claims to neutralize the imperfections, discoloration, and redness on the face. It also claims to make the face glow, keep it healthy and ready for makeup. The product is more like of runny consistency similar to honey. The primer is light gold in color with tiny golden particles suspended in it. The product is sticky in nature and gets absorbed into the skin quickly initially. But after a while it gives a greasy finish on skin. As I have an oily skin, I go for matte finish and this product makes oily skin messier. It is enriched with the goodness of gold, honey, and collagen but does not give any glowing effect to face, like it said. It also does not cover up any imperfections and discoloration. The product does not work as a primer but can be used as a serum. It is too costly and it does not fulfills it's claim.

Wonderfull product !!!

Honey primer has a very light gold color and with visible gold, flecks suspended in it. which by the way is one of the primary ingredients in this product. Honestly, this product doesn’t look like a primer to me at all and is closer to serum in its texture. The texture is slightly sticky and reminds me of watered-down honey. I applied as said and I am pleasantly surprised. My skin is way better than what it used to be. My nose is still troubling me, but I am sure it will get better with time too. Good for skin ingredients like honey and collagen.

NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer – I picked up the product when I was in a shopping spree and got attracted with the cute little golden bottle. As per the description provided by the company, it is inspired by the honey’s golden glow. The packaging is beautiful as it comes in a small golden bottle with twist golden cap. The top has a spatula which can be used as an applicator. The primer is inconsistent, and it very difficult to stick to the applicator, and hence, the application process can be messy. My suggestion is to include a pump type of packaging to make life simple. NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer is golden in color and has gold specks which suspended in the primer. The texture of the primer is slightly sticky and looks like diluted honey. This product doesn’t look like a primer at all, more like a serum. The golden flecks did not add any radiant or brightness to the skin. I was initially surprised how it would react or get absorbed on the skin. The primer did leave a sticky feeling on the skin, which not impressive. NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer comes in a gorgeous packing, very healthy for skin as it comes with honey and collagen. The primer gets absorbed quickly to the skin and has a dewy finish. Now coming to the cons, it does not function as a primer and feels sticky though. The gold flakes do add any effect or extra vibrant to the skin. The use of spatula is none as it causes messy when we use. The NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer is very expensive. The use of spatula is none as it causes messy when we use. Overall, I would not recommend this product to anyone due to its non-functionality.

My sister being into the cabin crew profile keeps on needing cosmetics every now and then. One day she was in town and was looking for some cosmetics so we decided to look around for the same. While ding window shopping we got a cosmetic shop and we entered the same. We bought a lot of cosmetics for her from this shop. The Make up artist was very kind enough to show us all the shades and colours available with us. After shopping for what we liked the MUA showed us NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer and suggested to buy us the same. She mentioned that it is formulated with honey and is best to use as a base before make up. Since my sister was supposed to do make up very often in fact daily to be precise we thought of giving this primer a try. To our surprise this is a complete waste product and not at all worth of the money that they are asking for. I personally used it thinking that it might work on my face skin at least however all my efforts were in vain. It gets so sticky. Yes sticky just imagine if the primer is only giving that stickiness to your skin that too to such an extent how would ,you be able to apply any other products over it. A primer is usually used to set a make up however on the contrary the sticky look does not allow any make up to settle down on your face. It is so high on your pockets and with no fruitful results on the skin is very heart wrenching. I would definitely not recommend this NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer to any one as you would only receive disappointment along with the same.

I came across NYX Honey Dew Me Up Primer at am online shopping portal. The description and the reviews were very good so I thought of buying it. The packaging looks very cute. It comes in a tight glass bottle and the primer is in the form of a honey coloured liquid with gold flakes in it. It is supposed to give a very smooth finish and helps in setting the make-up. The description also says that it provides a dewy finish with a natural glow. The primer has a very thin consistence and has an applicator. I did not find the applicator useful and it cannot be applied with it. In fact with such a thin liquid consistency, its application is quite a task with the gives applicator. A pump or a sprayer would have worked better with it. It has gold flakes but they do not give any special effect to the face or the makeup. The liquid gets absorbed easily and gives a smooth finish or that is what it claims to be but I found it very sticky on my face. However, I missed that natural glow that I was expecting it to give. It is supposed to neutralise the visible discolouration and redness or at least the description says so but I did not see any such result. The thin consistency of the liquid hardly makes any difference to the face. The price of the product is 17$ which makes it very expensive moreover, since there are no special results, it does not make any sense to buy it. I think it is sheer waste of money to buy this product and one should rather go for buying a better base or some other cosmetics than spending money on it.

Do not buy this product.

NYX Honey Dew me up primer, firstly why do you even need this product. Users who are really into trying out a primer might want to just try it for the heck of it. You have better ones in the market people. A very bad product in all. The names in itself gives you a hint that yes, this small bottle is going to give you a dewy effect. Its sticky! Very very sticky. The bottle comes in a transparent range. The colour is visible. Makes it easy to believe that they do have honey in it. The packing is neat but then the product is for sure not worth it!! The application gets extremely messy with the spatula. They should have instead give a pump so that it would get easy to get it out. But then I suppose it would be equally hard to pump it out due to the consistency. The serum based product is not great to the skin. Make you look all very stick and heavy on the face. The gold flakes which they claim to be present in the bottle makes it look even more horrible. This product definitely does not works as a primer!! The makes for sure were not very sure of what to make hence they probably ended up making this one!! No radiant skin visible, does not hide the redness in the skin. Very hard to settle. Extremely heavy. Hard to apply and definitely not worth so much for all the messiness. The cost is not worth it. It’s way too expensive for this little bottle. I would not recommend this product to any one as I am very sure that whoever I would recommend it to will disappointed with me. I would not want that. Hence user’s please do your checks and balances before you go for something like this!!
