For every household, Parachute is a hair oil staple! Every home has it, and pretty much every one uses it. Hair oil equals parachute and I have fond memories of having bonded over with my mother of a good head massage using Parachute Coconut Oil. Parachute hair oil has been a constant with me since I can remember, and being 100 percent coconut hair oil has been my number one choice in hair oils. Parachute Coconut oil has no added ingredients; it is plain coconut oil, which has anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties, which help in protecting the scalp against infections and also providing the much needed nourishment to your hair.

Over the years that I have used Parachute I have not noticed any change in the consistency of the oil, it remains the same, only to solidify during the winters! The packaging however has upgraded since, you can notice the same blue bottle but with a seal so that the quality of the oil doesn’t get tampered with. You need to apply hair oil religiously for it to show its effect, and I am pretty consistent when it comes to oiling my hair, especially an hour before I shower. The only thing about

Parachute oil is that you need to wash your hair with warm water for the oil to come off your hair. Of course the other major drawback of Parachute hair oil is that is solidifies during winters. This means that you need to leave the oil in a vessel of hot water for it to melt before applying. But nothing is as relaxing as having a warm oil massage in winter! Yes, you can always find a pro in the con when it comes to Parachute Hair oil. It is my first love in hair oils, as I have grown up using it, and I am not using the same for my children!

A little messy during summers

My mother gave me one useful advice for a healthy hair when I was beginning my college life, she still sticks to it “whatever you do to your hair, just massage them with coconut oil at least twice a week”. I trust her choices. I am following her advice since then. It is my routine to oil my hair twice a week with pure coconut oil and leaves it overnight before washing. It minimizes the effects of chemicals and pollution on our hair.

It is natural and adds shine to the hair too. When I think of coconut hair, I think of parachute as my mother used it on me. We can rely on it. The contents are skin friendly, it has lauric acid and rich in protein, it is good for our hair and scalp. It is absorbed by our skin and offer deep conditioning. I am a working mother so I hardly find time for hair care. I am not able to go to a salon for hair care, thus the simplest thing that I do is that I massage my hair, take steam (hot towel method) and leave it overnight. This ensures blood circulation to scalp cells and also relaxes the pressure point. Now that I am a mother, I massage my girl’s hair too with Parachute coconut oil.

I leave it in her hair for about two days and then wash it off. It gives me the most satisfying results. I just found one little issue, It is quite messy during summers. To manage the same I use a little quantity with water and do the massage as usual. I will surely recommend it to all the girls and mommies for themselves and for their kids. Oil regularly and get smooth and shiny hair. Happy oiling!

Using it for my childhood and totally loving it

We have using this Parachute coconut oil for decades together. As far as I know we have been using this oil from 1992. We lived in Dehradun and during winter the Oil becomes condensed and we have to melt it to use it. I think this is the only product and the bottle which I have seen dont have changed for years of use. Even the oil and its consistency haven't change. What I use today is same as we used in 1991. Uses of Parachute Coconut hair oil - 1) Best For hair oil. Thats the main use of this oil. 2) Also used as body oil before bath. 3) Can be used a lubrication for door and windows. 4) also used as shinning oil for metals which also prevents from rusting. 5) can be used for loosing tight fitting like screws. The only I dont like with this oil are - 1) the smell. But that ok becoz it natural. So now a days, I Dont care about others and just use it. 2) the oil is prone to Ants. If u leave the bottle's cap open, the ants eat the oil. And that creates a mess. 3) You have got to take bath and remove the oil everyday becoz leaving it for many day with make ur hair very rusky. becoz the oil attracts dust a lot. 4) Not advisable for people with oily hair. Overall, the Best oil I have been using for over 2 decades. And I am still using it. Dont use the other Chemical Oils, that will kill ur hair. I will personally suggest you to use this pure cocununt oil for you and your babies ( you can also use this cocununt oil to massage baby for their healthy development of body parts ) Order Parachute for your self and for your family and be healthy.

I remember eating Parachute Coconut Oil from the tin container while it was in its solid form. Yuck! I won’t do that now. But then, its smell was so alluring that it was impossible to resist as a child.
Over the years, this coconut oil has upgraded to more hygienic packaging and a better formulation. But the thing I’m most grateful about is that it has remained true to its identity - 100% Coconut Oil.
When I was a kid, my mother was very careful with grooming me and my sister. She made sure our hair was taken care of as well. Back then I had beautiful hair but during my teenage years, I abandoned my mother’s remedy and invented my own i.e., hair serum and straightener. Well, it worked when I was young and fresh but now I’m in my late twenties, and my hair is crying out for help. I was absolutely unaware of the damage until I went home last winter and my mother started nagging me about my experiments on my hair. History was repeating itself when my mom forcefully started massaging my scalp and hair with Parachute Coconut Oil before bed. I had to wash it off the next day with lukewarm water. I did not use cold water because it gets greasy and makes it harder to wash off. My mom repeated this routine for one and half month. I didn’t resist after a while because the massage felt relaxing. Now that I am back in the city, whenever I meet a friend they always compliment me on how healthy my hair looks now. And I feel it too. After applying Parachute Coconut Oil for one and a half month, my hair has bid goodbye to dandruff. The roughness that made my hair look like corn hair is now turning into soft strands of silk. I have grown to love this oil again. Its smell is still the best among all the other hair oils, and the texture is balanced. It solidifies during winter, but that can be corrected by placing it in a bowl of warm water. The task of combing after hair wash has become easy, and the strands on my comb have visibly reduced. I regret ever giving up this product. Now that I’m reunited, I am marrying this hair oil.

Not good for oily skin

I love this oil. I have been using it since I was a kid. It not only makes the hair thick, but it also makes the skin supple and firm. I have never had a hair problem and I’ve always been complimented on having incredible hair. I thank Parachute for that. I oil my hair once in every three days. I warm the oil and apply it, keeping for an hour before I wash it off. I have thick strong black hair. I love the coconutty smell it has. It becomes thick in winter but you can just simply put the bottle in some warm water and it thins again.

Perfect for deep conditioning of hair.

Coconut smell

Parachute Oil nourishes the hair right from the root, keeping it hydrated. This is what all their ads say. My hair was dry, horribly dry. I used the oil as a deep conditioning treatment. It really made my hair thick and shiny. I also used it as massage therapy to relieve headaches and it worked wonders. The one drawback is that the oil solidifies during the winter. I had to put it in warm water to liquefy it.

Great for hair fall and massaging
