If you know me personally, you will know how many times I have changed my hair color. It have colored it golden brown, hot pink, ombre, burgundy and peacock green. To color my hair, I had to bleach it first since my original hair color is black. Now that I am in my late twenties, I have don’t have the zeal to go extravagant. And my experiments led to a terror - my hair is 100% damaged. It looks and feels like hay, honestly.
I don’t want to go bald, so I had been going for hair treatment every two weeks. Yes, it was smoothening my hair to some extent, but the volume of my hair was still thin. I also can’t deny the fact that there were chemicals involved in these treatments. I didn’t want to end up with no hair when I’m an old woman.
As Patanjali’s products are very popular, I thought to try it out myself. So I went for Patanjali Kesh Kanti Amla Hair Oil. The oil comes in a bottle with a flip open cap. The oil is green in color, and the texture is rich and a little greasy. It is easily available and very efficient as well.
I started using it thrice a week, keep it overnight and washing it off with shampoo the next day. It is quite greasy, so I wrap my hair with a scarf to avoid spoiling my pillowcase. I followed the same routine for a month and guess what?! My hair feels so much better. My hair fall is reduced, and I’m sure my roots have strengthened. I didn’t see any changes in my hair length, but that’s probably because one month is a short time to see a miracle in the state of my hair, so I’m not complaining.
I am going to continue using this hair oil and see how much I benefit from it. Oh, sweet nuggets! How can I almost forget to mention about my scalp!
So, my scalp. It has received the right amount of nourishment and now it is reviving. I’m sure within no time it will be good as new. And in addition to it, I have stopped my chemical hair treatment because I have decided to go all herbal now.

Works for specific hair types
No improvement in two weeks
My hair is the same after two weeks of use. The oil just added shine to my hair. I think it only works for specific hair types as it gave a friend thick hair but didn’t work for me. I have very curly hair while she has wavy hair. It made her hair shiny and long. Another thing I dislike is the horribly strong smell. It was a little too much for me to handle.

Thicker and stronger hair
Takes too long to work
It takes too long to work and made my hair too greasy. I have naturally oily hair so when I used the oil it just made it oilier. But on the plus side, my hair has become thick but you can see the difference only after using the oil for a month regularly. It is made of natural ingredients which is another plus.

Reduces hair fall
Takes time to get absorbed
Getting to work every day means having to be out in the sun. It made my hair brittle, dry and lifeless. We all want our hair to be voluminous. After using the oil, I could start to see improvement in my hair’s quality within two weeks. The oil has helped reduce my hair fall. It reduced the brittleness and dullness as well. My hair is now black and glossy. It is also shiny with great volume. Leave the oil overnight for best results.
