Anyday, I will choose earthly products as compared to high-end products. This is why I chose Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shikakai Hair Cleanser as soon as I came to know about it. Usually, herbal products work slow, but the effects are a long-run thing. So, the waiting game doesn’t really bother me.

This shampoo looks like honey due to its color and the gel-like consistency. The smell? Oh well! Ayurvedic products don’t really have the best smell unless they add artificial fragrance. It can get a bit strong. Over my two months of continuous use, I did come across instances where close friends of mine have commented on the way my hair smells LOL, but we will later laugh about it.

Anyways, coming back to the shampoo... well, the efficacy takes time to show itself, but then with some patience, I have now very healthy hair. I feel it every time I touch it. My hair gives more shine than usual and is much smoother. Although truth be told, I get the smoothness only after the task of combing my hair.

This shampoo doesn’t do much to detangle my hair nor does it do anything for my hair fall. I am still using it because this shampoo is a natural one and the effects are a long run thing. So, all is well.

PROS

Good price

CONS

Has side effects

Does not live up to its claims

I started using this shampoo with the hope of healing my damaged hair, from years of experiments. For the first few applications, my hair did seem to appear soft. But after a while, my hair started reacting differently.

It started with my hair getting dehydrated. Then, the hair started falling more than usual. The shampoo did nothing for my hair. I will not recommend this shampoo to anyone.

Patanjali Kesh Kanti Shikakai Cleanser is a very good reliable herbal product from Patanjali.
It really helped my hair fall problem and treated my dandruff. The price is reasonable, and
the shampoo has become easily accessible.

One fall back for me is that this shampoo is not entirely natural. Because it contains Silicon and Sulfate.

PROS

Good quantity

Pocket-friendly

Gives shine

Reduce hair fall

CONS

Strong smell

Because of hard water in the area I stay, I started getting very bad hair fall. I never experience hair fall before, so I didn’t know exactly what I should do. When I asked my girlfriend, she recommended me this shampoo.

So, it has been more than a month, and I have noticed my hair fall reducing. My hair has also become bouncy and shines more than it used to. But since the smell is too strong for my liking, I use a hair oil before I leave home. So, in that way, the bounce is pretty useless for me.

My first experience with Patanjali has been 50/50.

PROS

Pocket-friendly

Herbal product

Cleanses scalp well

CONS

Not effective

I have heard so much of Patanjali, so I also bought this shampoo to give it a try. It has been three weeks since I started using it and I am still waiting for results!

There is no improvement in my dandruff, nor are there signs of my hair fall being controlled.
What a disappointment.
