Mousse foundation usually has a whipped texture that gives a light, breathable yet flawless look. I have a few nude lipsticks from Rimmel London. I chanced upon a Rimmel counter in the mall and ended up buying this foundation because it looked promising and was affordable too. I dotted this foundation all over my face and neck and tried to blend it only to realize that I took so much of product. However, other foundations I have would blend in after some time, but this one was patchy and difficult to apply. I tried mixing a tad bit of Rimmel Liquid Mousse foundation with a moisturizer, and it worked fine. But, it was already off my makeup stash because there were so many good ones lying in it. There are so many shades in this range, and you can easily find the one that matches your skin tone if you try and buy it. However, I wouldn't recommend this foundation unless you want to waste your time blending and look like a freshly painted wall anyways.

Not A Foundation For Dry Skin!!

Being a matte lover and very fond of liquid foundations I tried Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation . Generally mousse are meant to be slick but this foundation does not have the texture like mousse . It comes in an inverted tube which is sleek and small with a small nozzle which lets a very little cream while squeezing the tube . The consistency is very creamy and smooth , but once applied this makes my dry skin even more dry. It makes the skin look unnatural and does not go well with my skin type ,so gave it go my sister who has an oily skin . She felt the foundation was an average product which is not greasy and gives a smooth and bright skin instantly leaving a fresh and smooth look . But its coverage is very medium it does not covers the dark spots and acne which were still visible .It makes the skin feel heavy . The staying power is 4-5 hours . There are so many shades available for every skin tone . I would say Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is an average product that too only for oily skin . Better Foundations with same cost are available . It is definitely not a product for Dry skins .Not a product to be recommended!!

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is a liquid foundation which is good for oily skin. I like liquid foundations as they have a good blending property. Creamy foundations do not blend properly. Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is oil free. The packaging is attractive but the quantity is less as seen in pics. It nourishes the skin from the deep within. It adds a natural glow to your skin. a little quantity is sufficient to cover your whole face and neck. always remember to apply it on the face as well as neck. It gives good coverage and smooth skin. I just like the natural shine it adds to your face instantly. It controls excess oils giving a fresh look to the face. It minimizes pore visibility and gives a naturally bright face. It gives a medium to full coverage and doesn't look greasy at all. The twist cap makes the application easy and smooth. It has vibrant shades of colors. Choose the shade that suits your skin tone. It is not so long lasting, it stays for about 3-4 hours. the price is fine. It may not suit dry skin, as it dries the skin itself. You can use it with easy especially if you have an oily skin.

For people with oily skin like me - Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation IT IS! if you have plans to try or buy this mousse foundation, welcome it with your arms wide open. It is matte and it has great coverage, bringing an even tone to the skin. It stays for a long time, maybe I should use the word long lasting. It gives a glow to the face and as it says, it reduces the appearance of pores. Since this is a mousse foundation, you can even dab it away with your fingers. YES! It blends that well. It comes in different shades and sets perfectly. it doesn't get oily on the skin for a long time. Although this foundation is perfect for oily skin, it has got some flaws too. This foundation is a little thicker than thought and the face must be deeply moisturized for those with dry skin or else the makeup could get cakey and am sure we don't want that. It is very important that you chose the right shade for your skin or you could end up looking exactly not like you. Otherwise, this foundation is a winner! It is super affordable and worth the money.

1. Cannot control shine

2. Not Long-lasting

4. Not suitable for oily skin

For a person like me, foundations are important as I wear them frequently. I have oily skin and hence oil-based foundations are my enemies. If by any chance I use them, I get at least 1 pimple on my face almost instantly & the longer I wear the foundation the number of pimples increases proportionately. So for me oil-free, lightweight foundation is what is a must. So here, I got this foundation from Rimmel, which is a liquid mousse foundation. Now mousse as I always knew is super soft and creamy which covers the skin almost like icing does to the cake. So ever since mousse came to market I have been using it. I used mousse foundations from various brands and hence it was obvious for me to be comfortable with this new trial too. Thus, I tried this mousse in shade 103 – True Ivory. To start with the shade, it was little too pale as compared to my skin color but then with the application using fingertips, I was able to blend it well so it did not look odd on me. Blending with the fingertips was easy as the product actually is lightweight and soft. After application, it does give you a matt finish as the product is oil-free but then it cannot control oil secretion. This means that I got oil on my T-zone and cheeks pretty soon after applying the product. So all day shine control was something which did not happen for me. For pores, they looked minimized only till the oil did not come. Once the oil was there on my T-zone and upper cheekbone area, the pores were visible too. But then what can we expect from a low budget foundation, it off course did not come anywhere near to medium range mousse foundations like Maybelline or Colorbar with respect to its performance. To sum it all, I can recommend this product to those who have combination skin. The price is affordable so definitely, it can be tried at least once to check if it suits you because if it does, then you got lucky. This is because the product definitely is lightweight and it blends easily which saves a lot of your time and energy. And this all is at a very affordable price. BINGO!

More of a bb cream than foundation

PROS

Sheer coverage for daily wear

Mattifying

CONS

Not for dry skin

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation should be named as a BB cream because I didn't found the quality of foundation in it. it has share coverage and if you wish to build it up it gives you medium coverage but little cakey hence I prefer it to use it on daily basis as a BB cream which gives share natural coverage. I have a combination skin and an oily skin depending on the climate has it worked on my skin well. it does matter for your face nicely and it stays on your face for good 3-4 hours which is best for daily wear. but if you have dry skin this is not the product for you as it will leave your face looking very dry I like a Sahara desert. I love the fact that it comes in vast range of shades to choose from. also I love it's packaging it's very travel friendly and very easy to use unlike pump or spatula. If it would have been named as a BB cream it would have done the justice to the product but saying it a foundation I don't find it right. Also if you skip setting your face after using this foundation it's ok as it's quite mattifying and you don't need a heavy e dose of compact powder for a setting powder.

CONS

Having a combination skin becomes a disaster during the summers due to all that chipchip aka stickiness on the face. And attending any parties and functions is something I really hate during this sunny weather. Evening functions are still okay but having the afternoon meetings or weddings are super killing for my skin type. So getting all that controls oil is what I look for. And I landed to this liquid mousse foundation called Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation after doing some research on the net. After seeing some very good reviews finally, I made a purchase of this super smooth mousse foundation. Yes, it is as smooth as the mousse you eat. I had started using it for the past two months and I can tell you how amazing this foundation is. Without touch up, it can stay as long as three to four hours. And grabbing the perfect shade is the mantra to have the best feel of this liquid mousse foundation. It is not overpriced too. The quantity and quality, both justify the price aptly. Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation has an oil-free formula so helps me have a nice matte look for three to four hours after the application. It makes a perfect base for my summer makeup regimen. Not just that, this liquid mousse foundation does not give a cakey and patchy look even after a few hours of moving out. It may need a touch up in between for longer hours’ occasions. And it makes a perfect daily wear use of a foundation too. It gives even coverage and hides blemishes. Makes skin perfect looking and does not give that overly makeup feel at all. Conclusion - Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is the best liquid mousse foundation for oily and combination skin type of people. It is not pricey and gives the best coverage with long-lasting effects. Best to have during summers for the people with combination skin like me.

I have a few lipsticks from rimmel and I love them so when I came across rimmel London stay Matte liquid Mousse Foundation I decided to give it a try. the main reason I was attracted to this Mousse Foundation that it claims to control the oil and Shine and also minimise the appearance of pores. it is a Matte Foundation and and for someone like me with very oily skin this looks like a perfect choice. it comes in tube like packaging, which is not very fancy or attractive. yes it's convenient to use and is also easy to carry in your purse. the mousse like texture is very smooth and blends very well into the skin. it gives a medium coverage. it does hide my minor flaws, but does nothing for my marks. it is control the oil on the skin and gives a Matte effect. the staying power is not very good though. It stays good for not more than four to five hours, after which it starts oxidising. But overall i would say the price at which it is offered it is worth a try.

I have dependably been into fluid establishments significantly more contrasted with cream and mousse establishments. I have attempted the numerous establishments and they worked truly well for me. I saw this establishment which professed to be "matte" and my slick skin cherishes matte items. This mousse establishment arrives in an altered cylinder. The base of the cylinder demonstrates the shade of the establishment, so it turns out to be anything but difficult to pick one that would suit your skin tone. The cylinder is smooth and little in size which makes it exceptionally convenient, and yet, you don't get an enormous amount. The cylinder has a little spout which lets out the mousse, however, it must be pressed hard to get the mousse out since it is a bit excessively thick. The cost is normal, however, so are the outcomes. This mousse establishment arrives in a modified cylinder. The establishment lights up my composition in a flash making it look significantly fresher and smoother. It makes my pores look limited. It gives medium inclusion, hiding redness and minor defects. It lights up the under-eye territory a little yet since it is somewhat substantial, I abstain from utilizing it for the under eye region which would some way or another make my dark circles catch the eye. In any case, this establishment isn't something that bestows full inclusion, so my skin inflammation was somewhat noticeable, yet I adored how this establishment changed the general look of my skin. It covered dim and dull skin and added freshness to my face. It keeps my skin matte for a couple of hours and afterward the oil begins to return. The fortitude is for 4-5 hours.

This is surprisingly a good product. I was skeptical to buy this product as the price was low. I personally prefer matte foundations hence bought this. To my surprise it turned out to be an excellent product. It gives great coverage. I wash my face then apply my sunscreen and then this foundation. I apply a matte compact too to seal the foundation. It covers the blemishes and acne marks so well that you feel you never had any marks on your face. It last for more than 6 hours hence wins my confidence. I feel it is an amazing product with an amazing cost.

I had never tried any mousse foundation, but after using Lakme mousse foundation I started preferring them over any other liquid foundation. And amongst all, matte is my favorite as it looks good on my oily skin. I purchased this liquid mousse foundation on its retail price viz., Rs 450. I was hopeful for its claims which were feather light and oil-free formula without giving any feeling of heavy or greasy. So, if I start with its packaging then it comes in a plastic tube wherein in its bottom, the shade of its foundation is shown with its name. This becomes easy to choose shade according to the skin complexion. However, this plastic tube is actually hard to press in order to squeeze out the liquid from its nozzle. At the same time, the quantity of this mousse liquid foundation is very less in comparison to the price. Now let us come to its texture and my experience after using this foundation. The texture and its consistency are smooth and creamy, and since it has an oil-free formula, one with dry skin may not love this foundation. However, this foundation blends quite easily in the skin. Although it has an oil-free formula, during hot and humid weather, you may feel oiliness and sweat too. For this, you can apply any loose powder to settle it. Overall, it brightens up the skin and gives a fresher and smoother look. It does not stay for many hours and oxidizes as well, hence better to choose a shade lighter than actual. In short, it is an okay product, not so great.

I recently went window shopping and stopped by the cosmetic store to check on the newly arrived cosmetics. The beautician was very much keen to help me out and was happily showing me the freshly arrived stocks. My eyes fell on the Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation and I loved the packaging. I was tempted to try it and she happily obliged. I generally prefer using liquid foundations as they stay put for a longer duration than the powdered ones and my skin being a combination one, the makeup tends to wash off in a humid climate or when I sweat profusely. She happily helped me apply the Rimmel Mousse foundation, and I was already falling in love with it. It blended so well with my skin and the feel was amazing. It wasn’t so heavy on skin and they have 24 shades for each skin tone. It gave a perfect coverage to my face, by hiding all the dark spots and gives a natural look. Although you need to use a primer or a compact to keep it intact all day long. It is washed off easily and I did not experience any side effects post usage. It is quite easy to use but one must be quick enough to apply it and blend it over the face as soon as you start applying it over the face. It does not give a cakey look and is quite buildable. Also it is quite pocket friendly and travel friendly. I am very much in love with this product.

When I heard about this product “Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation” I was very much keen and excited in using this foundation. As foundation does not come in liquid consistency much and it is indeed very rare I so much wanted to give it a try. All my efforts were in vain as this foundation does not did any sorts of wonders to my skin which was a bit unexpected for me. I went through several reviews on the same before buying it and did a lot of research work too hence it was a great surprise that it did not go well on my skin. It simply does not blend well into my skin and the face looks more patchy here and their which is very embarrassing. I once stepped into a party and looked so ugly in hardly half and hour as due to this foundation my entire make up was ruined. I felt so disheartening that I stopped using this product since than. It actually made my skin look more dry comparatively. It might work good on may be oily skin for that matter but for sure not my skin type. It comes in a tube form which makes it easy to carry though. I have a combination skin type and my cheek area is much more dry this foundation never blends into your skin and hence the outcomes are even worse. I feel that my money is entirely wasted after buying this and that it is not at all worth for the price they are asking for. It gives you a look which is much caky and gives a heavy touch to the skin. I would strongly not recommend this to any one out their and it is totally a bad investment if you are looking to take one home.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation comes in a tube form with a twistable cap. It is a creamy based mousse foundation which gives a matte effect. The tube is very small and it doesn’t have much quantity. The packaging is very average and so is the product. The foundation suits oily skin and gets blended well. It doesn’t look greasy on oily skin but it does make dry skin look drier. The foundation gets glided smoothly in to the skin and gives a smooth finish but it gives a heavy feel on the skin. The foundation does not last very long and it is not waterproof. In summers, it is not a very good product. It gets wear off easily and does not last for more than 2-3 hours. There are 11 shades to choose from and one can easily find it matched according to every skin tone. It ivory shade that I picked up suits fir to medium skin tone. It provides medium coverage and conceals light uneven patches. It gives a heavy feel which does not look good when applies under the eyes for dark circles. If you have dark circles and are looking for a foundation to cover it then I would not suggest it. Price wise it is not very expensive but the foundation is not that good either. I am not very happy with it and would not recommend it to others. It is not worth buying it at all.

Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is an oil-free, lightweight foundation. Really? I don’t think so. Why do makers bring so many foundations in to the market. Aren’t they just satisfied already. Or is it that they just want to make it big every time. So much competition is it!! Gosh, that’s a good and a bad thing. Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation is not for the dry skin. It’s meant only for the combination skin or the oily skin. This foundation appears patchy and all caked up on the dry skin. For the oily skin is suppose it settles well. The moisture is locked and the skin appears to be line free or oil free. The product is light weight. Can be carried everywhere and is affordable. The redness of the skin is less visible and the freckles don’t show much. Which is a very big benefit!! But then all this works exactly opposite for the dry skin users. It does not long last. Rimmel Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation - I have never used liquid foundations, and when I saw the Rimmel stay matte it was quite instigating for me to try on. The best feature of this foundation is the matte effect, as the face is oily, and I always prefer to get the matte finish. The packaging is handy with a squeeze tube and a twist cap. I believe there are eleven shades to choose from, which can be matched with different skin tones. I have applied it to my face with just a single squeeze and spread the dots across my face. The texture is very soft and glides effortlessly on the skin. The method is follow is recommended by makeup experts across the world. Without which i am sure there is going to be a cakey feeling for sure. I tried it and failed miserably. The price I guess it was around 450 to 500 Indian rupees. The heaviness of the mousse formula can breakout and has a sheen. As the name suggests, I couldn’t see any liquid foundation and performs averagely. Overall, I would not recommend to every due to its less lasting power.
